Margarita instructed the kids.

"Lies and deceit are the best tools in life. Let's have an exercise scenario....."

Alan is sighing as he watches this.

"She is corrupting the children."

"My sister is just concerned about them." Miguelito said.

"Heh, you will be misled if you think that." Alan.

Miguelito grins.
"I grow up in the slums. If anything, I know that being influence is good depend on the person you are following."

"Your point?"
Alan.

Miguelito grins.
"My sis is the best leader. You can be misled by her and you will never go wrong."

"What an idiot." Alan said.

"Miss Beauty, how did you know Prince Dwayn?"

"Just knew him."
He said.

"I can't believe he has friends. He looks like a lone wolf with lots of followers but no friends at all." Miguelito said.

"He is not as good of a person as he pretends to be. It is better not to be too close."

Miguelito smiles.
"I don't even a single time thinks he is a good person. He is quite cool though. And my sister trust him. For me, that is good enough reason."

Alan sneers.
"People trusting that goddamn bastard...Heh."

"Isn't he your friend?" Miguelito asks.

"I don't have friends." Alan looks away.
How can he have friends?
He is locked.
Like a princess imprisoned in the castle.
He is just waiting to the day he will die.
Counting days and months and years.

"I can be your friend." Miguelito said.

Alan looks at the innocent boy and then flicks his forehead.

"Aren't you cocky?"

Miguelito rubs his hurt forehead.

"Am I too young to be your friend too?"
Miguelito pouts.

"I don't need friends."
-Since I will die soon.

Miguelito nods.
"When I live with my mother. I also said the same. I don't need anyone. I can live on my own. When my father find me and give me a better place to live in...I realize the comfort of having 'someone'." Miguelito smiles. "Though you don't need a friend... A day may come when you want them even you don't need them."

Alan looks at Miguelito's smiling face.
"A day will come ...huh..Will I still be around at that time?" Alan chuckles.

The smile in Miguelito's face disappear.
".....what do you mean?"

Alan smiles.
"Friends huh...What is the benefit of having a friend?"

"You can talk to them and rely on them...I guess. I don't have much friends to be honest."

Alan laughs.
"It's like having a personal butler or maid, then."

"Yeah." Miguelito sighs.

"So much for your talk about friendship."
Alan snorts.

"That's all I can think of, sorry."

Alan smiles.
"Then you will be my first friend."

Miguelito smiles.
"So we are friends now?"

"I think having one more person remembering me before I die is good enough reason."

Miguelito stares at Alan.

"Miss beauty, you are dying?"

"Yeah. Maybe. No. I am sure I will."
He laughs.

"I see. Then....sure. I will remember you."
Miguelito took his hand.
"I want to show you something."

"Huh?"

"Just come with me."
Miguelito pulls Alan's hand and the two run to the back of the church.

Dwayn and Margarita looks at each other.

"Why did you introduce him to Miguelito?"
Margarita asks

"Alan is smart and he is useful tool for a new kingdom I will build."
Dwayn smirks.

"I see."

"In that kingdom, I am planning to have a Queen." Dwayn said and looks at Margarita.

Margarita sneers.
"That is a nice plan. I hope all your plans will not met with resistance."

"You tell me. Will there be?"

Margarita smiles.
"I am a bit expensive."

Dwayn laughs.
"I am a bit rich."

Margarita smiles.
"Oh."

The two smiles at each other.
The children are all looking at the two with the expression that makes it hard to explain in words.

"They scares me." The little girl said.

"They are scary but they arw generous. Don't look at them and just ate the cakes." The older sisters and brothers told the kids.
