As a child, I used to wake in the night and wish for the Sun. The darkness worried me.
I fear not the dark itself,
but what was lurk within it.
But now, that scary darkness of my childhood has being one with me.
I'm no longer looking to escape the darkness.
I'm learning to love myself there.
