Chapter | 22

jungkook had finished changing. he was wearing a red jumper and black jeans, he decided he wanted to look nice but be a little comfy. jungkook looks at himself in the mirror to touch off his hair and then walks to taehyung's room.

he gently knocks on the door to hear a slight 'come in' jungkook opens the door and his eyes go straight onto taehyung. taehyung was wearing black dress pants and a white dress top with his hair slicked back.

"wow" jungkook mutters catching the attention of taehyung who looks away from the mirror and smiles.

"you look stunning," jungkook says causing taehyung to blush and turn away not before muttering

"you look handsome your self" which makes jungkook smirk

"you think I look handsome?" jungkook walks closer to taehyung who rushes out of the room

"didnt say that" taehyung says while running downstairs.

jungkook chuckles as he walks out of the room to follow taehyung. he hears a knock on the door, which confuses him because his mum isn't meant to be here for another 30 minutes.

he watches as taehyung goes to answers the door. "no, let me open it" jungkook says rushing past taehyung. he has had crazy fans at his home before and he did not want taehyung to get hurt.

jungkook opened the door to see a worker standing on the other side and a truck behind him with another worker opening the back.

"delivery for kim taehyung?" the worker says confused but see's another male behind mr.jeon.

"that would be for us," jungkook says

"would you like us to bring it in for you?" they asks as jungkook nods, taehyung was about to interfere when jungkook put his hand on his mouth and the worker smiled and got to work.

"what was that for we should help them," taehyung says moving jungkook's hand away from his mouth.

"we have to prep and get everything ready before they get here" jungkook says as taehyung nods understanding.

"sir where would you like us to place these?" one of the workers said who was carrying heaps of bags in both hands.

"over there on the kitchen bench thank you" jungkook says as both of the workers nod and walk towards the kitchen.

jungkook turns towards taehyung who was already staring at him, jungkook couldn't help but look at how beautiful taehyung was. the same thought was going through taehyung's head as he was looking at jungkook, he couldn't help but get butterflies just by looking at him.

"excuse me sir-" they both flinch and look towards the workers who were staring at them confused. taehyung blushes slightly embarrassed.

"all your shopping is on the kitchen bench, i will just need you to sign here" the worker says handing the clip board and pen to taehyung who takes it and starts to sign then hands it back.

jungkook grabs his wallet and gives both the boys $100 each "thank you for helping" jungkook says handing them each their tip as both boys bow and thank him many times in shock.

"have a great day mr. jeon" both boys say and leave the house.

"that was very nice of you," taehyung says as jungkook turns around and smiles

"was it?" jungkook says walking closer to taehyung who keeps eye contact and hums

"what do I deserve for doing such a generous deed" jungkook whispers close to taehyung's face.

taehyung's confidence shoots through his body as he places a hand on jungkook's chest and steps forward there faces so close that their noses are touching.

"what do you think you deserve mr.jeon?" taehyung says as jungkook stays still shocked at taehyung's confidence but he loves it.

"you show me" jungkook says putting his hands on taehyung's waist, taehyung hums as he leans in and slowly kisses his check, letting his lips linger for a little and then slowly pulls away.

jungkook breath hitches when he feels taehyung's soft lips on his cheek. but frowns when taehyung pulls away. "time to prep dinner" taehyung smirks and walks towards the kitchen swaying his hips slightly.

"damn that ass" jungkook whispers under his breath as he takes a second to regain focus.

taehyung blushes heavily as soon as he was in the kitchen and out of sight from jungkook.

"i cant believe i just did that" taehyung says as he shakes his head and looks at the groceries that where on the bench but are out of the bags and already unpacked.

"jungkook" taehyung shouts as soon as taehyung shouted his name jungkook ran into the kitchen "are you okay?!" he says as taehyung nods a points to the food "i think they un packed it for us" he says as jungkook looks at the counter.

"saves us a job," jungkook says as he looks at the food.

"where do we start?" taehyung asks

"well, let's grab the desert things and snacks and put them away for later so we can focus on the dinner prep," jungkook says as he starts to grab the things and put them away, taehyung doing the same.

after they finished taehyung took out 20 potato's and put them in a bowl of water and started to wash them.

"can you put the potato salad dressing in the fridge please" taehyung asks jungkook who nods and looks around the counter before grabbing it and putting it away.

taehyung starts to peel the potato's as jungkook is putting the meat on some plates prepping it for the BBQ later on.

"are you still nervous about meeting my mum?" jungkook asks as he grabs some bottles of fizzy and puts them into the fridge.

"honestly yeah, I really want her to like me. I have never really met anyone's parents before besides jimin's parents" taehyung says as he starts to peel the potato's

"what are his parents like?" jungkook asks

"very polite, very sweet, and caring and when I would go over to theirs to have a sleepover with jimin they wouldn't want me to leave," taehyung says as he puts the peeled potato in the water-filled bowl.

"they were like parents i have never had" taehyung says as he stops peeling for a second and then continues.

"has your mum always been close to the girls?" taehyung asks trying to change the subject.

"euni yes she loves my mum and so does yeona but as you know yeona is quite quiet and shy but out of everyone she is mostly okay with my mum, it was her first time having a sleepover at mums and apparently she did really well" jungkook says as taehyung smiles happily

"that is great news," taehyung says finally finished peeling the potatoes.

"I think it helped that she had euni there with her" jungkook says cleaning the bench.
