A very intriguing predicament // Boku No Hero Academia

Chapter 8

For the other battles, I watched them with the same keen eyes. But a neutral expression, I watched and absorbed as much as I could find out quietly. Mentally going over my plans for each team if I were to go up against one of them and the quirks I'll use for it.

" Has anyone noticed how intently Walker has been watching each of the battles? " I heard Kaminari bring up, everyone's eyes shifting over towards me. I could almost feel their stares on my back, keeping my eyes on the screens but my ears on the comments made by the rest of the class.

" You're right, and did you see how she was watching the battle between Bakugo and Midoriya? She had a progressively growing smile on her face. To be honest it was a little eerie. " I heard Mina add to the now growing conversation.

And I wasn't happy to be the sudden centre of attention. " I wonder if she picked up that look from Aizawa-sensei, because it's the same look he gave Midoriya the other day during the ball throw. " I heard from Ojiro.

" That's the only battle she smiled at, the other ones she looked completely neutral. " Jirou added.

But before anyone else could continue, the battle ended, and now it was my turn. " AND FINALLY, FOR THE LAST BATTLE, THE HEROES ARE TEAM B, THE VILLAIN IS TEAM K!! " All Might called out. So I'm going against Shoji and Todoroki?

Glancing away from the screen, I got the transceiver from All Might and headed to the location. Knowing Todoroki, he'll try to end the fight there and then by freezing the building again like he did against Ojiro and Hagakure. And as he's coming up, I can quickly melt away the ice with hellfire then ambush him when he gets to me.

Going over my plan in my head I stood by the bomb. And just as predicted, the room's temperature suddenly dropped and ice covered the walls, floor and ceiling. As well as holding my feet to the ground. " How predictable, Zuko 2.0 needs to be more original. " I mumbled.

Activating hellfire I sent a stream of flames at where the ice held my feet to the ground, quickly melting the ice and subsequently melting the ice in the rest of the room as well. Using cementoss' quirk I made a nice little ring on the ceiling a meter in front of the door.

I had my plan set up, the ambush gone over to every single detail. Reaching up to my neck I grabbed my capture tool, unfurling it and sending it through the ring and pulled myself up to hang upside down like spiderman.

And so I waited, hearing the tapping of Todoroki's boots against the floor, I felt my grin widen ever so larger. So when the door opened with a loud creak and Todoroki entered, I saw the surprise and confusion on his face.

Lowering myself a bit behind him, I whispered in his ear. " Peek a boo~~! " I spoke with a little sing in my voice. Todoroki quickly turned around with a startled look, but he wasn't fast enough, as I had already activated Erasure and wrapped him up in my capture tool and hoisting him up, hanging there like a Piñata.

" I think it's time you have a nap, " I added as I smiled slightly. Using Kayama's quirk, Somnambulist, as the pink gassy aroma spread through the room, and with Todoroki completely helpless, he quickly fell asleep and limp in my capture tool as his head dropped and his eyes closed.

Blinking and dispersing the gas. I lowered Todoroki to the ground lightly, unwrapping him but then tying him up with capture tape instead.

Leaving Todoroki there, I left the room and began to head down as I had a big smile on my face. Shoji wont be hard to deal with. Grabbing some eyedrops from my utility belt I quickly used them to hydrate my eyes as I went down the stairs.

Getting to the bottom floors entrance, Shoji's eyes widened as he saw me approach. " What? You surprised that the candy cane lost to one girl? Come on then? Are you feeling lucky enough to have a try Shoji? " I asked with a song like tone in my voice as I gestured for him to come at me.

To which he did, and my grin grew wider. As he tried to take a swing at me, I pivoted on my left foot and went around him. " Too slow! " I spoke as I used Bakugo's quirk and hit Shoji with an explosion on his back.

The force sending him to the ground and struggling to get up, using that moment of weakness. I quickly captured Shoji in my capture tool and tied him up with the capture tape.

" T-THE VILLAIN TEAM, WINS!! " I heard All Might stutter out through my transceiver.

So when All Might came over, Todoroki eventually woke up and Shoji had to be sent to Recovery Girl because of the burns on his back. We went back to the Monitor room for my grading.

And as if everyone was creeped out by me due to my intent watching of the fights, they were definitely absolutely terrified now. Even Uraraka and Ida had looks of absolute shock and horror on their faces.

" WELL WITHOUT A SHADOW OF A DOUBT, THE V.I.P. FOR THIS BATTLE IS WALKER!! YOU ANALYSED EACH TEAM AND FORMULATED A PLAN ON HOW TO COMBAT THE ONE YOU WENT UP AGAINST. AMBUSHING THE HEAVY HITTER OF THE TEAM AND QUICKLY CAPTURING HIM WHILE FITTING INTO THE ROLE OF A VILLAIN!! YOU THOUGHT AHEAD AND MADE A PLAN SO YOU WOULDN'T BE OUTNUMBERED BY THE HEROES AND COULD PICK THEM OFF INDIVIDUALLY! " All Might spoke as he explained what I had done right.

Then Yaoyorozu held up her hand, wanting to add something to what All Might had said. And I wondered what criticism she was gonna give. Probably something about how I was reckless to assume that Todoroki would use the same tactic as when he went up against Ojiro and Hagakure.

" I did notice that during the other battles, you were watching each and every one of them quietly and intently. I'm guessing you were analysing each team like you did with Todoroki and Shoji, you were preparing counter measures for if you had to face off against any of those teams. You prepared a backup plan for if you were put against each and every different Team. " Yaoyorozu spoke.

That was a relief, " You also took inspiration from me and put yourself into your role as the Villain, and you being absolutely terrifying is a testament to your convincing portrayal of a quiet but intelligent Villain! " Ida added as he raised his hand and spoke with a rigid form.

Which seemed to catch everyone's attention. " Yeah, you were completely convincing out there. I couldn't help but feel sympathy for the Hero team, you played around with them like a Cat playing with their food. " Kaminari admitted as he spoke up too.

" I TOO WAS UTTERLY CONVINCED BY YOUR PORTRAYAL AS A VILLAIN! AND I'VE FOUGHT REAL ONES! " All Might added.

" And to do it all by yourself as well, I don't think I could have won without Deku's help. " Uraraka added, though now, it began to sink in how exactly I had acted during the battle... And realised why exactly I had managed to frighten even All Might.

Because with how I acted during the battle, like a completely calm and collected sadist, and with how my quirk works. I had ended up acting like All for One but with hints of me sprinkled in there, and All for One is All Mights greatest enemy.

And I had just acted like a near carbon copy of him.

Then Todoroki and Shoji, when he got back from Recovery Girl, got their grades, I could feel Todoroki's stare on my back as we left the Monitor room and began to head for the exit of Ground Beta.

" WELL DONE EVERYONE!! NO SERIOUS INJURIES APART FROM MIDORIYA'S! GREAT TEAMWORK, THOUGH!! YOU ALL DID SPLENDIDLY, CONSIDERING THIS WAS YOUR FIRST TRAINING EXERCISE! " All Might complimented the class, though I knew that Bakugo's ego had just taken a hit from Midoriya due to how their battle ended.

" COMING AFTER AIZAWA-SENSEI, SUCH A STRAIGHTFORWARD CLASS IS... ALMOST A LET DOWN... WE TEACHERS ARE FREE TO HOLD NO-NONSENSE CLASSES IF WE CHOOSE! NOW I'M OFF TO GIVE MIDORIYA HIS EVALUATION! CHANGE OUT OF THOSE COSTUMES AND HEAD BACK TO THE CLASSROOM!! " All Might spoke before quickly zooming off to see Midoriya.
