"mother may I talk to you about something concerning me" mother turned to me and smiled.

"sure hunny what do you want to talk about?"

This is it I'll definitely find out what's wrong with me now! Mother always knows what to say. He's very smart unlike father who's too into the demon arts to talk about normal things.

"I always feel a fluttering feeling when I'm around a certain boy. Am I sick?"

Mothers eyes lit up and he started giggling.

"what is so funny?" I asked.

"oh baby your in love!" mother said pulling me into a hug.

"what!? That's preposterous!" I yelled.

"no its not! Your showing all the signs of someone who's lovesick!" lovesick?

"but he's my best friend" I whispered. Mother smiled at me.

"your father was my best friend then I fell in love with him when I was your age"

"what should I do?" I asked

"I think you should tell him" I jumped out of my seat.

"I can't! What if it ruins our friendship!"

"hun if he's the nice boy you say he is then none of this will affect your friendship." I went silent.

"so are you going to tell him?" mother asked. I nodded. He hugged me.

"I wish the best of luck to you baby" he ruffled my hair and went back to cooking.

The next day

"feind I'd like to have a word with you" I announced.

"oh sure what is it" ryame asked.

"you stole something from me"

"wa- no I didn't!"

"yes you did feind!"

"alright then what did I steal?"

"my heart" I grabbed him by his shirt and kissed him. I pulled away nervously. He was smiling in a lovestruck way as he gently stroked my cheek.

"I'm glad you feel the same way karai" my heart stopped. He returned my feelings?

I nuzzled into his chest feeling really happy that I took my mother's advice.
