Tej and Ray launched themselves at the assailant, engaging in a fierce struggle, while Maya swiftly seized the sword from his grip. The mysterious intruder, dressed in a commando uniform with a masked face, put up a formidable fight.

Meanwhile, Advika raced towards the familiar white rock where she had always hidden the book. A surge of anxiety washed over her as she glanced at her watch.

It was 3:58 pm.

A powerful electric pulse surged from the attacker's hands, sending a jolt of energy through the air. The force of the impact sent Tej, Ray, and Maya crashing onto the ground, their bodies thudding against the unforgiving earth.

"Advika," Tej whispered urgently, his gaze shifting between her and Ray.

"The book!" Maya exclaimed, quickly regaining her footing. As she prepared to confront the attacker, he raised his hand and unleashed an invisible force, binding them tightly with an unseen rope. Despite their efforts, they were unable to break free, feeling the tug of resistance with each attempted movement.

"Who are you!?" Maya demanded, straining against her restraints.

"What do you want?" Zarna added, her voice slightly quivering.

The attacker remained silent, ignoring their inquiries as he securely fastened them to a nearby tree. Retrieving his sword, he swiftly turned his attention to the white rock, running towards it with purpose in his stride.

"Tej, no," said Maya as she noticed what Tej was doing. "Don't set the invisible rope on fire, it'll burn us too," she said.

"But, Advika," said Tej. "She's alone there."

Advika crouched behind the white rock, clutching the book tightly in her trembling hands. Panic surged within her as she contemplated her next move. He's too powerful for me to face head-on. What should I do?

"I can sense your presence," the attacker's voice rang out, growing closer.

Advika closed her eyes, desperately seeking guidance. "Book, dear companion, please lend me your strength," she whispered, her voice filled with urgency.

"Don't test my patience," the attacker warned, steadily advancing towards the white rock. "If you don't reveal yourself, your friends will suffer the consequences."

Advika's heart raced, torn between protecting herself and ensuring the safety of her friends. She knew she had to act, but she had to be wise about it.

"No, he won't," Advika heard a female voice say. She looked around frantically, making sure not to step or sit on any of the leaves beneath. She didn't want to attract any kind of attention.

"I'm Grantha, the book," said the voice almost in a whisper. Advika glanced at the book, surprised. "You. . . can talk?" she questioned not believing her ears.

Advika's eyes widened in disbelief as she heard the voice emanating from the book. She cautiously held it closer, her curiosity piqued.

"Yes, I can communicate," Grantha replied softly. "But we don't have much time. Listen carefully."

Advika's mind raced with questions, but she knew she had to trust the book's guidance. She focused on its words and nodded, ready to follow its instructions.

"But what about my friends?" Advika's voice quivered with concern.

"Trust me, I will ensure their safety," Grantha assured her. "Right now, your priority is to act swiftly. Do as I say, and we can save them together."

Advika took a deep breath, steeling herself for what lay ahead. She knew she had to put her faith in Grantha and carry out its instructions, trusting that it had the power to protect her friends.
