Chapter 20

I close the magazine I was reading and place it on the small black table next to me by the pool, laying back to enjoy some sun. A small breeze keeps me just cool enough under the warm rays. As to not raise any suspicion I decided to be seen by staff members and other residents and sit by the pool for a while instead of being locked in the room with Bucky all day

Not that I wouldn't mind staying in bed with him all day..

"Your drink ma'am." I open my eyes to see one of the poolside staff members holding out a black serving platter with a tall chilled glass of white wine. I smile warmly at the employee thanking her. I take the glass from the tray, bringing it to my lips as the woman walks away to serve another guest. I take another sip a moment later and scan the large pool area. So far nothing seemed to be out of the ordinary for a place like this

My phone chimes on the table next to me with the magazine, interrupting my peace and quiet. I pick it up while taking another long sip of the cool drink

B: we should get ready

A: darn, I was just starting to enjoy myself

I sigh, finishing my beverage and standing to head back up to our room, a small pep in my step as I enter the grand elevator. The walk from the elevator to the room door made my pulse quicken and my core start to quiver. My body reacting to him already without even seeing him yet. I swipe my key card, opening the door to find the room seemingly empty. Not a sound to be heard anywhere. I draw my eyebrows together in worry and confusion

I step further into the room, the door closing behind me. I peer into the bathroom but find nothing before heading for the balcony. I'm about to reach the door when two arms snake around my hips and pull me back against a broad chest. I gasp at his touch, the cool metal seeming to seer my hot skin. His lips feather kisses up my shoulder to my neck

"James.." I breathe out, pulling away from him. As much as I didn't want, I knew I had to. My body couldn't handle another... ahem... session with him. Oh, and because we're on an assignment too I guess

I know men have a high sex drive but Buckys is almost insatiable. I can't seem to keep up. Then again, I'm brand new to this. I don't have an endurance built up yet

"I love that suit on you.." He grabs one of the strings tying the front of the bikini bottom to the back and tugs it gently, loosening the knot

"We need to start getting ready, remember?" I chuckle, turning around to face him and catch him looking at me from head to toe. He shakes his head, licking his bottom lip. I know what he's about to do and place my hand on his chest, stopping him

"Down boy. We're still on a mission." I bubble out a giggle at how needy he's being

He nods, taking a step back and allowing us to prepare for the evening. But not before leaning down and placing a loving kiss on my lips to which I happily return.

Our chauffeur pulls up outside the extravagant tall building with floodlights beaming into the night sky all around it. Dozens of other cars both in front of and behind ours. Our driver opens the door for me as Bucky exits from his side of the vehicle. I give the driver a small thank you while Bucky rounds the car to me

He wore a black button up shirt with a navy blue suit jacket and matching pants. His hair slightly slicked back and tucked behind his ears.
