Owen Watson isn't what others consider a people's person. Introverted and bookish as he is, Owen is known to be grouchy and easily annoyed, especially with people who treat him as someone who is only defined by their disability. He was in a wheelchair, but he was fine anyway. Being in one means standing out, and one of the things Owen hates the most is attention. He just wants to sit back in the shadows with a good book. 

Everything changed when Athena Calimeris stumbled into his life and made things more complicated. 

Athena is your typical, bubbly, girl next door. Child at heart, people wouldn't think twice to know that she's a former child prodigy. Though her recent past tells a different story, she is as fragile as any other person can be despite her playful, sunny personality.
