Bothered (Tsukiyama)

Yamaguchi likes to be friendly to others. Tsukishima is bothered by it, despite telling himself otherwise.

"Yeah well lunch was good. Thanks for getting those meat buns!" Yamaguchi smiled brightly at the tall blond male

Tsukishima glanced at the shorter and lightly smiled to himself.

"It's no problem." Tsukishima said

The two metal doors slid open as bright light illuminated the dark sidewalk they were walking on.

"Hey hey hey Tsuki blah blah!" Bokuto exclaimed, catching the twos attention

"What is it?" Tsukishima said

"Come block for us! And bring your friend. We need more people." Bokuto said, walking back inside but leaving the door open

Tsukishima sighed and started walking again when he noticed the lack of presence to his left. 

Turning around, he saw him looking at the doors.

"Lets go play!" Yamaguchi said to him

Tsukishima was about to deny but couldn't seem to let out any words. How could he deny that bright smile?

"Fine." He said

They both walked into the gym and dropped their things. Tsukishima was wrapping his jacket up when he noticed the green headed male missing again.

Looking towards the court, he saw him.

There he was again, talking it up with others.

Tsukishima didn't know why it bothered him so much. He hated it, he hated every minute of it. 

He tried to look away, he tried not to care, but every time he looked back all he would feel is that pending tightening in his chest.

He had to do something about it.

"Yamaguchi say, you're a really good setter. Mind setting for us?" Kuroo said, motioning at Bokuto too

"I mean sure! I don't mind." Yamaguchi smiled

"Good." Kuroo said, putting his hand out to pat Yamaguchi's back

As he was reaching out, a hand grabbed Yamaguchi's shoulder and yanked him back.

Yamguchi stood there, shocked as his back hit the blond middle blockers chest.

"Keep your hands to yourself. Thanks." Tsukishima said, staring intensely at Kuroo who smirked

"Say.. Tsukishima you never told me you had a boyfriend." Kuroo said with Bokuto saying "Ooohh" behind him

"He's not my boyfriend." Tsukishima said, noting how Yamaguchi sulked slightly after that statement

"You sure act like he is." Bokuto said 

"Come block for us in a second and i'll forgive you for taking our server." Kuroo said, starting to walk away with Bokuto "My bad, your sever."

The two laughed as they went back onto the court, practicing. 

Yamaguchi was about to say something to Tsukishima when he got tugged by the taller. He brought him to a nearby storage closet and closed the door behind them both.

Tsukishima looked down, pressing his glasses back onto his face.

"Tsuki?" Yamaguchi said

"Listen." Tsukishima said, treading towards the male "I don't know why. I don't know how."

Yamaguchi stared at the middle blocker and took a few steps back until he hit the wall. Tsukishima walked towards him until he was right in front of him, two hands to the sides of his face. 

"I get pissed off when you're so friendly to someone else. Anyone else. So stop doing it." Tsukishima said

"Tsukishima.. I have to talk to others, i'm just trying to be nice." Yamaguchi said

"What if they hurt you again?" Tsukishima sighed

Yamaguchi looked Tsukishima in the eyes and smiled

"Then I always have you to defend me right! You're always there." Yamaguchi said

Tsukishima stood there in silence.

"So you're..jealous?" Yamaguchi said

"Tch. Yeah." Tsukishima said

Yamaguchi nodded and made eye contact again.

"I like you.." Yamaguchi breathed out, garnering courage.

Tuskishima thought for a moment.

"Really?" Tsukishima asked

"Yes really! I have for a long time." Yamaguchi said

"I'm mean though." Tsukishima said

"Not to me. But you have reason to be, I understand why you are sometimes." Yamaguchi said

He did truly understand, unlike everyone else Yamaguchi truly knew what happened between him and his brother. He knew why he acted this way.

Tsukishima let out a sigh.

"Go out with me." He muttered

Yamaguchi nodded "Of course." 

The two walked out of the storage closet to some whistles by Bokuto.

"Wonder what you two were doing in there!" Bokuto remarked

"Leave them alone Bokuto." Akaashi said

"But babeee!" Bokuto whined

"Hey Tsuki. Hope you don't take it the wrong way again. He's all yours. Plus, I got a boyfriend myself." Kuroo said

"Who would date you?" Tsukishima said

"My setter of course! Speaking of which I gotta get home soon before he eats all the groceries without me." Kuroo said, looking at the huge gym clock "Lets wrap it up!"

Practice went on without a hitch. Tuskishima even glanced at Yamaguchi every so often to see his intense face while serving.

Kuroo and Bokuto had a field day making fun of the poor middle blocker as they all wrapped things up and separated, sticking with whoever respectively. 

Tuskishima and Yamaguchi continued on their path back home. Eventually, Yamaguchi nervously grabbed the taller's hand who reciprocated. 

They stared up at the night sky and smiled at eachother.

Who knew Tsukishima could be so bothered.
