Poison Pt. 2 (Yandere! SakuAtsu)

"We're done for today!" The coach called out

Atsumu sighed as he wiped himself off with the towel

It had been a couple weeks since Sakusa beat the living hell out of him and 'offered' his hand in pursuing a romantic relationship.

In order to keep his life and loved ones, he agreed.

And he still wasn't used to it.

Walking out of the gym, he flinched upon feeling a light touch on his shoulder.

Sakusa narrowed his eyes "You don't have to be terrified of me. I said I would protect you, didn't I?"

"Yeah. I'm sorry, I was just in my head." Atsumu reasoned, but they both understood the reality of the situation

Atsumu was petrified.

Sakusa thankfully let it go, extending his hand as the two walked to the older's car.

"Atsumu!" A voice called from behind

The blonde stiffened as he turned around, eyes slightly wide.

"Woah, you okay there?" The man said

Atsumu cleared his throat, maintaining his composure despite Sakusas intimidating presence turning like a menacing shadow.

"Hey Akio, what do you need?" Atsumu said

"I just wanted to check up on you, you seem off during practice." Akio said

Sakusa squeezed Atsumu's hand, the gesture seemingly feeling like a warning.

"I'm alright, just a lot in my head. Nothing too much." Atsumu reassured, offering a smile

"You sure? You used to be so excited and into the game but now you just seem kind of off. No offense man, I know you're his boyfriend." Akio said, looking at Atsumu and then Sakusa

Sakusa didn't offer a word, a smile, or even any reaction at all. He just stared at the man blankly.

Akio let out a awkward laugh as Atsumu could sense the rising danger becoming apparent.

"Its alright Akio, just some family issues. Nothing more, nothing less." Atsumu said "We have to get going."

Before the man could say much more, Atsumu pulled Sakusa away with all he had and the two got into the car.

Sakusa started the car as the two hit the road, quietly driving.

Atsumu lowly sighed in relief, if Akio had pressed and kept asking questions, he had no doubt that the man would be harmed

"... Sakusa?" Atsumu said after feeling the rage seething off of the older

The raven headed male didn't say a word, but Atsumu can tell he was acknowledging him through his rage.

"Sorry. Its just been a bit tough to trust you after... you know.." Atsumu said

Sakusa hands clenched on the wheel, his jaw tightening.

"Please, you have to understand.." Atsumu mumbled

"Understand that you're miserable with me?" Sakusa coldly said

"I'm not." Atsumu said, despite half of him disagreeing "I love you."

Sakusa stopped at a red light and looked at the younger, face unreadable.

It was the first time either of them had dropped the phrase, despite Sakusa feeling it for a while now.

Thankfully, it seemed to be enough to ease the older as he relaxed his body. Atsumu let out an internal sigh of relief and laid back on the seat.
