Sharing Pt.1 (Multiship)

Where the whole team has to share mattresses. Two per mattress.

(A/n: Daisuga and Tanakiyo are the only people already in a relationship. The rest of the ship names mentioned above are who has a crush on who. Also to clarify, everyone WANTS to sleep in the same bed with their crush/partner, they are just nervous and therefore awkward. No one was forced to in anyway shape or form.)

Heavy rain pounded against the window of the hotel inn.

"Amazing block against Karasuno-"

"He barely blocked that!" Nishinoya cut in, angered on how the sports commentator discretely slandered Asahi

"Ah, its okay Nishi, it was my bad." Asahi sheepishly said

"It's not okay!" Nishinoya said, riled up

"What he said!" Tanaka said, supporting him

"Quiet down. We're trying to listen." Daichi ordered and they shushed

"Karasuno's short middle blocker managed to spike that ball right into the court alongside their setter!" The tv man said

"Did they have to mention height!" Hinata whined as Kageyama smirked

"Right?!" Nishinoya said

"It's only fair they comment on your height. It is odd for someone your height to be reaching over the net." Tsukishima said, clicking on his phone

"I feel like that was a backhanded compliment.." Hinata questioned

"The only ones Tsukishima can give." Tanaka said "Still a compliment!"

"Short.." Kageyama muttered to himself and Hinata turned around

"What was that bakeyama?!" Hinata said

"How do these two work so well on the court.." Daichi sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose

"Even together." Sugawara said, tossing a piece of popcorn into his mouth

The door suddenly slammed open as everyone stopped what they were doing.

"Alright guys, good news and bad news." Coach Ukai said, walking into the large shared room

"Yes Coach?" Daichi asked

"I know we all usually get individual sleeping mats, but today because of the heavy rain, a lot of them got soaked deeply. None of them will be dried until tomorrow, since we can't even make a run to the laundry with dryers in this flash flood like weather. So we asked the hotel, and they did have sleeping mats." Coach Ukai said "But they only had a couple left. Luckily, they're big so two of you can fit on these each."

The whole team looked at each other and blinked.

Coach Ukai smirked slightly, knowing very well that part of the team had hidden feelings towards one another. Takeda walked up behind him.

"Choose wisely." Coach Ukai said "If anyone wants, there are like three individual mats still awaiting."

"We call them." Ennoshita, Narita and Chikara said, getting up as Takeda lead them away

"I'm staying with Kiyoko!" Tanaka laughed "Have fun guys!"

Everyone saw as the happy man bounced out into the halls.

"Asahi!" Nishinoya said "I'll sleep with him!"

"Sure." Asahi agreed

"Sugawara of course." Daichi said

"Yep!" Sugawara smiled

"Tsuki?" Yamaguchi asked

"I wouldn't get into the bed with anyone else." Tsukishima bluntly said

"Uh.." Hinata said, realizing him and Kageyama were the last two people

"Hinata." Kageyama said

"Alright! It's settled." Coach Ukai "Now, does anyone else seriously have a problem? No one has to sleep in the same bed if they don't want to. We can possibly work something out."

Everyone kept silent.

"No Coach." Sugawara said

"Right. If anyone changes their mind, i'll be in my room." And with that, Coach Ukai left the room

Various volleyball conversations resumed afterwards as Takeda shuffled the big sleeping mats into the room.

The team quickly helped him place the mats around as they got ready for bed.

"Uh, you go freshen up. I'll fix the bed." Kageyama said to Hinata

Hinata nodded and went into the halls, walking into the bathroom.

"Looks like the kings boyfriend finally appeared." Tsukishima remarked

Hinata's face heated up.

"E-EH?!" He exclaimed "He's not my boyfriend!"

"But you want Kageyama to be!" Nishinoya said "Righttt?"

Hinata looked down, face red.

"Oi. What about me?" Kageyama said, standing right behind Hinata

Tsukishima was about to speak when Yamaguchi cut him off.

"Tsuki, let's just go to bed now." He said, yawning

Tsukishima eyed the shorter, nodding. After all, he was the only one he'd listen to.

"Nothing king. Just teasing your lover." Tsukishima said, turning to Kageyama

"Lover?" He questioned

"Jeez you really are oblivious aren't you." Tsukishima said, grabbing his toothbrush as he walked out with Yamaguchi

"Uh- I left my volleyball in my drawer!" Nishinoya exclaimed, quickly rushing out with some toothpaste wandering in his mouth

Kageyama stood there confused as Hinata looked up.

"Hina-" Kageyama started

"Well lets brush then!" Hinata cut in before Kageyama could even ask

The tall setter eyed the smaller but didn't bother pushing it, simply brushing his teeth next to Hinata.

As they were rinsing their mouths Asahi was ushering a sleepy Nishinoya into the bathroom.

"Nishi, try to stand up straight i'll do it for you." Asahi offered

"Mmm." Nishinoya said, trying his best to stand upright

Asahi grabbed the toothbrush from behind and properly brushed the smaller's teeth. Nishinoya leaning his back on Asahi's chest.

"Jeez, what would Nishinoya do without you." Sugawara teased as him and Daichi entered the room

"Have toothpaste all over his mouth." Kageyama blandly stated

"Bakayama.." Hinata muttered

"What was that?" Kageyama said

Daichi and Sugawara glanced at each other. Hopefully this wasn't gonna be a long night.
