Yaku finds out that him and Lev are soulmates through their matching strawberry marks on their bodies.

It was a normal day in Nekoma High.

Nekoma was practicing for their next game as they finished up their afternoon practice.

Yaku was about to turn to Lev and ask him to stay and practice some more receives, when he saw the silver headed male already behind him with an expecting look.

"What?" Yaku said, looking up at him

"You're going to ask me to receive with you a bit more, right?" Lev smiled

 Yaku stared at the male "Jeez, do I ask that much?"

"You usually always ask on a Friday because I won't have to strain the next day at school, Yaku-san!" Lev said

"Oh yeah." Yaku said, a light blush creeping up on his cheeks 

"Make sure not to push yourselves so hard, we have a game soon." Kuroo said as he handed the keys to Yaku before walking out with everyone

The two stood in the empty gym for a few moments before Yaku picked up a volleyball and Lev got in position.

"Ready?" Yaku said

"Right!" Lev said

The two were practicing for a while, and to Yaku's pleasant surprise, Lev was receiving quite well.

"Ah, you've gotten a lot better since we started." Yaku said unconsciously as he hit the next ball

"Really?" Lev said as the ball flew past him, looking at the older with a glimmer in his eyes

Yaku took a second to process what he had just said, a light blush on his face "Still not great though."

"Your words are so cold, Yaku-san." Lev said, clutching his heart dramatically as he kneeled over

The liberos breath hitched as he saw a glance of the mark left on the taller's shoulder.

"Lev! Let me see your shoulder for a second." Yaku said

"Eh? Why?" Lev asked

"Don't test me, Lev." Yaku huffed

Lev quickly exposed his shoulder, showing it to the older.

"Oh, were you trying to see my soulmate mark?" Lev smiled "I got it a couple years back."

Yaku stared at the mark.

A strawberry with sixteen seeds on it.

"Isn't it cute, Yaku-san?" Lev smiled

Yaku counted the seeds multiple times, making sure they alined with the amount he counted on himself numerous amounts of times.

At the final count, Yaku knew. 

They were soulmates.

"Yaku-s-" 

"Uh, lets continue this next week." Yaku suddenly said

"But we usually receive for twenty more minutes?" Lev said, looking at the clock confused

"I know but I just remembered something important I have to get back to. Next week, Lev." Yaku said with a small apologetic look before rushing off
