"Hey hey hey!" Bokuto said as he walked into the house

"Daddy!" Kiero cheered

Akato looked up from his place in the baby seat and stared doe eyed at his father.

"Hey there kiddos. Wheres papa?" Bokuto asked, ruffling their heads

"Bokuto-san." Akaashi sorely from his place on the couch

"Akaashi?!" Bokuto exclaimed, walking up to the younger and crouching down to the couch "What's wrong?"

"Papa's sick..." Kiero frowned and Akato suddenly started crying

"Bokuto... pick up the baby." Akaashi coughed, seeing the older freak out

Bokuto looked to the side and turned to the baby, picking him up and rocking him to the best of his ability.

"Did they have dinner?" Bokuto asked as Akaashi nodded

"Kiero, how about you go to your room and i'll read you a bedtime story before you go to sleep, alright?" Akaashi said, considering sitting up when Bokuto stopped him

"How about daddy tells you all about the cool match he had today?!" Bokuto suggested excitedly

"Yeah!" Kiero said, rushing into his room as he got prepared for bed

Akato was still crying hard into his fathers chest.

"You have to hug him tight but not too tight, keep him warm, you have big arms so you can do it well." Akaashi said

"Big arms you say?" Bokuto winked following Akaashi's advice who rolled his eyes

The baby was softly shifted in the mans arms, upon feeling the warmth of his father, Akato quickly calmed his cries and moved from sobs into light huffs.

"I thought Akaashi only had this power.." Bokuto said, tears in his eyes

"Its just a technique." Akaashi said "Put the baby to bed and tell Keiro about the match."

"Will do." Bokuto said walking into the hall, still very cheerful from the way their baby calmed down in his arms

"Oh, and Bokuto-san." Akaashi called out, halting the older's movements "You played very well today."

Bokuto had more tears in his eyes as he heard those words from his partner, a dopey smile on his face.

"Put the kids to bed before you get all lovestruck." Akaashi sighed, debating wether or not to throw a pillow at his legs

"They're asleep?" Akaashi asked, opening his eyes at the footsteps creaking towards him

"Yeah, Kiero was a bit difficult because he got so energetic from the game talk." Bokuto smiled, looking down at the younger and put a hand on his cheek "So warm..."

"Yeah.." Akaashi mumbled

"Why didn't you tell me?" Bokuto asked

"Isn't it obvious? I didn't want to worry you when you were doing so well." Akaashi said

"I came a bit later because we all went out to celebrate as coaches treat, you could've told me then and I would've come home earlier." Bokuto said

"No no... you worked hard, I imagined you needed it." Akaashi said

"You did too, handling our kids for two weeks by yourself. Ah, what would I do without you." Bokuto smiled, kissing the top of his lovers forehead

"Isn't the answer to that simple Bokuto-san?" Akaashi said

"Hm?" Bokuto said

"You'd die." Akaashi blatantly said

"Don't say it with such a serious face Akaashi." Bokuto nervously said before looking up at the clock "Let's get you to the bed."

The younger nodded and was about to get up when he felt two arms move onto him. One arm tucked under his knees and another arm held his back up.

"Did you think i'd let my sick husband walk on his own?" Bokuto smiled, hauling Akaashi up bridal style as he walked through the halls

"...I guess not." Akaashi said, even redder then before

The shorter felt as he was placed on their shared bed, closing his eyes.

Hearing shuffles all over the place. Akaashi opened one eye to see Bokuto taking off his shirt.

"Did you shower today?" Bokuto asked trying to contain himself but a light smirk appeared on his face regardless

"....No, I didn't have time." Akaashi said

"It would be a bad thing for me to not take care of you while you're sick." Bokuto said, slipping off Akaashi's pants

"Nngh..." Akaashi lightly groaned, feeling the older's hands lightly graze his area

"Wouldn't you say so, Akaashi?" Bokuto said, staring down at his lover

"Fine." Akaashi said, feeling himself getting picked up quickly as they entered the shower

☾ Timeskip: The Following Morning ☽

"Mmmm..." Akaashi groaned, opening his eyes as he felt the bed go up and down

"Wake up!!' Kiero said

"Did something happen...?" Akaashi asked, opening his eyes

"No... but wake up!" Kiero said

"Keiro I made you really fluffy pancakes." Bokuto said, walking into the room with a plate in one hand and an arm carrying Akato in the other

"Yeah!!" Kiero cheered

"...You made breakfast?" Akaashi asked

"I figured it was my turn by now to take care of the kids while you had a break." Bokuto said, grabbing a wooden tray and placing it over Akaashi like a mini table

"Breakfast in bed?" Akaashi questioned

"Only the best for you babe." Bokuto smiled, pecking Akaahi on the lips as he sat on the edge of the bed

"Thank you, Bokuto." Akaashi said normally but the blush on his cheeks were very apparent

"Ah, are you still feverish?!" Bokuto alarmed, also causing the baby to perk up and look at his father

"No no. Don't worry about it." Akaashi said, looking away

"Papa! Dad! Heres the whipped cream!" Keiro exclaimed, crawling on the bed and sprayed a bunch of whipped cream all over the pancakes

"Thank you sweetheart." Akaashi smiled

"Why do I never get called sweetheart?!" Bokuto whined

"Because you cry about it." Akaashi simply said "My love."

"Eh?!"

The family sat altogether on the bed, eating the pancakes on the tray and smiling with each other.

Akaashi and Bokuto wouldn't trade their little family for anything in the world.
