Another Lifetime - Clint Barton

Clint cried as he held your hand. You smiled softly at him. His smile only appeared when your hand cupped his cheek.

"The other night dear, as I lay sleeping

Your voice was something Clint had always loved. You knew your time had come. You could feel the pain. You pecked Clint's lips before you sang again.

Your first fight was horrible. It started with a simple joke that turned out to offend you more than he thought. It ended as you storming out his room and spending the night with Natasha.

Your voice melted away as your life gave out. Clint buried his face into your hair, bringing him close to you.

You're the adrenaline in my veins
