all weekend

As I woke up I could still feel the fire crackling and the heat radiate throughout the room. I wasn't in my dorm as I had expected and instead found myself laying on the somewhat comfortable armchair. I sat up and noted my surroundings, it was empty which either meant it was early or I was late to breakfast. I definitely don't remember going to sleep with a blanket on so someone must have seen me.

I got up from the sofa and walked to me and 'mione's dorm, when I entered both 'mione and Luna were in her bed. They looked so peaceful together, it made my heart happy at the sight. It was 9 in the morning which did mean I was late for breakfast but it didn't make much difference seeing as it was a Saturday.

I climbed into the shower and let the hot water wash over my body. I started to reminisce on the night before, I remembered how magical it was and how peaceful I felt. It was then that I realised Ron wasn't downstairs with me when I woke up, he must be at the Great Hall I tried to reassure myself.

I stepped out of the shower and got dressed for the day, I put on some loose jeans and a random top from the back of my closet. I wasn't planning on doing a lot today and would probably end up going straight back to bed. I dried my hair, grabbed a hoodie and closed the door, making sure to make the least amount of noise possible.

I left the common room and pulled the hoodie over my head. It was a little chilly this morning, which was to be expected, I had never known British weather to be predictable.

I walked through the somewhat empty halls, I had assumed the first years had gone to Hogsmeade and the others were in the Great Hall.

When I reached the familiar towering doors they swung open and walked over to my normal place. However, I only saw Ginny sitting on her own very glumly.

"Gin where are the others?" I asked slightly worried.

"I have no idea, none of them were here when I arrived, I thought you all ditched me" she laughed in self pity.

"Of course not!" I protested.

"I haven't seen them at all this morning either, apart from 'mione of course" I raised my eyebrows and Ginny nodded knowingly.

"Should we try and find them? I'm kind of worried now" she asked and we stood up from the table, not before grabbing a piece of toast though.

We walked outside into the courtyard and heard commotion further down the field.

"I think there's something going on down there" I squinted.

"I bet that's where the boys are, probably egging on some argument," she rolled her eyes "should we watch from hill, we might get a better view" Ginny nudged me and I nodded eagerly.

We walked over to the hill and tried to catch a glimpse of the action. I narrowed my eyes and saw a flash of orange hair.

"Yep, they're down there" I said.

"I think I can see Harry too" Ginny relaxed.

"I don't know what people fascination with fights are" I tutted.

"Uhm you're one to speak," she raised her eyebrows "I heard what happened yesterday" she laughed.

"Oh Gin I wished you would've been there, you would've been such good backup" I laughed.

"I wish I would have been too, everyone thought it was hilarious that you broke his nose" she snickered.

Suddenly her eyes darted to the right of me and her eyes widened.

"What?" I said and turned around, that's when I noticed Professer Snape rapidly walking towards the commotion.

"Uh oh someone's in trouble" I said scared for the person on the other end.
