Ash P.O.V.

An idea had hit me. I knew that it would work. I was sure of it. But first I needed to get to the heart of the city. I took her hand and pulled her along with me.

"Ash, don't pull!" she said after me. "I can come by myself you know!"
"Yeah, but hurry!" I said.

Serena had no idea what had come over Ash but she couldn't help smiling as she tagged along after the excited boy. It gave her a strange feeling of reassurance and she couldn't point her finger on what.

Serena P.O.V.
"We're here!" said Ash.
I was shocked to find myself standing at the base of Prism Tower, the centre of Lumiose City. I had no idea what on earth was Ash planning, but I couldn't wait for what it was.
"Prism Tower?"
"Yup!" he said. "Now, let's go in."
"Whatever you're planning, it's gonna be good."
"I hope so."

Ash went into the building, me following him. We went up the lift and onto the floor where Clembot was; that being the entrance to the gym.

"Serena, wait here," said Ash going ahead. "I have a plan but I will need to talk to Clembot before I can do it."
"Why can I not come with you?" I asked.
"It's a surprise," he said. "And they call me dense."
With that Ash left me while it was all I could do to stifle a giggle. After about 20 minutes he came back.

"So what happened," I asked.
"Everything's ready," he replied. "Now, come with me."
I took hold of his hand and followed him to Clembot who was standing next to what looked like another elevator.
"Thanks a lot Clembot," he said.
"Anything for you, Master Ash," the intelligent robot replied.
"Come on, Serena," he said.

Both of us entered the elevator and it went up. Prism Tower is by far the tallest structure in Kalos and the gym was only halfway up. The building stood at a proud 200 metres. Ash was amazed at just how far he had climbed on his first day when he looked back at it.

The elevator eventually stopped and opened. I was at the top of Prism Tower. It was so tall, I could see the entirety of Lumiose City from here. In fact, I could even see the Badlands, owing due to the fact that most of the Lumiose buildings aren't that tall.

"Come this way please," said Ash.
Ash led me towards the western end of the roof. I saw two seats placed carefully together.

"For you," he said, sitting down on one of the chairs. Taking his lead I sat on one as well. As soon as I sat down, he pointed out.

No One's P.O.V.
"Look over there," said Ash.
Serena looked in the direction that Ash pointed at and she was amazed. For months they had not been to the sea so they had never seen a beautiful sunset for a long time. But this, this beat everything. The sight of the sun setting down the mountains west of Lumiose. It was absolutely beautiful. Almost as if an artist drew it and they were staring at curtains put up. Serena found herself dragged into a different world. A world where the only things were herself, Ash and this beautiful scenery. Unknowingly, she took Ash's hand held it tightly.

While on the other hand, Ash wasn't doing much better. While Ash wasn't normally taken in by beautiful sceneries, this was an exception. Being next to his date probably had some effect to that. Not to mention feeling extremely nervous when they suddenly started to hold hands again.

"Y-you like it?" he asked.
"I love it," replied Serena. "How did you know that I would love it?"
"I don't know," he said. "I remember you saying the sunset is going to be beautiful that's why I thought of bringing you here."
"Wow," she said, then stopped to look at back at it.

The inevitable silence persisted. Usually if there was silence between the two it would be awkward, but now it's no longer awkward. The silence was beautiful. The two looked on as the sun sank down into the mountains westwards.
