Ash P.O.V.

"Well, here we are at Coumarine City!" I exclaimed. "Time to get my 4th badge."
"Easy there, Ash," Clemont assured me. "The gym is not running anywhere."
"Yeah, but I need to get my 4th gym badge  as fast as possible."
"But where is the gym?" Bonnie asked.
"Oh, that's a good question." Serena said.
"We'll search for it," I said. "We'll surely find it."

30 minutes later
"Where on earth is the gym?" I said, exasperated.
"Hey, Ash," Clemont said. "I think we should try again later this afternoon. It's about time for our lunch now."
"Alright, I guess," I said, brightening up at the thought of lunch."
"Is there anyway Ash can stay without having food for 1 day," Bonnie said, giggling, seeing how Ash just went from down in the dumps to cheerful just at the mention of food. "If you told me Ash's true love it food I would've believed you."
This comment caused me to go red, although I had no idea why. "Let's just have lunch now," I said, hurriedly changing the topic.

At the Pokemon Centre
"Our pokemon are all rested up," I said, seeing Pikachu and the others in sound health. "We can now continue onto the gym."
"Wouldn't it be better to ask someone?" Serena said.
"Yeah," I said, grinning sheepishly. "I should've thought of that."

Nurse Joy P.O.V.
I gave Ash and his friends their pokemon when I saw someone else entering the Pokemon Centre. Ah, I knew him all to well, everyone did for that matter.
"Welcome, back," I said, flashing a smile. "Charizard, Chesnaught and the others are doing just fine."
"Thanks," the boy replied. "I appreciate it."
"Don't forget to win the Kalos League," I said. "Win it for Coumarine this time."
"Don't worry I will."

The voices of the others come into their ears.
"So, what happened to them?" he asked me.
"They don't know where Ramos' gym is," I said.
"Alright, I'll tell them where it is," he said.

Serena P.O.V.
We were talking when we were interrupted. I saw a boy, with a similar shirt as Ash's except it was long sleeved. He had on a red cap and deep blue trousers.
"Hi, may I help you?" he asked us.
"Oh, yeah," Ash said. "We were wondering where the gym was."
"The gym is on the hill on the west of the city."
'Oh, right, thanks. Come on Pikachu," Ash said, rushing out of the building, leaving us all inside.

"Excuse my friend," i said, "He's just really impatient for gym battles. Thanks for the help."
I followed the others out of the pokemon centre, in pursuit of Ash.
"Now, that was interesting," the boy said. "I think I might see how he fights Ramos."

---------------------------------------------------------

Ash P.O.V.

"The gym battle between Ash and Ramos will now begin. Both sides are limited to the usage of 3 pokemon and the battle will end when all 3 pokemon on either side are unable to battle. Furthurtmore, only the challenger may substitute his pokemon. Now, battle begin!"

"Jumpluff, Let's go!" Ramos said.
"Hawlucha, I choose you!" I said.

"Hawlucha, let's start up by Karate Chop," I said.
"Jumpluff use Cotton Guard," Ramos said.
Hawlucha rushed towards Jumpluff and hit it with a Karate Chop but it did minimal damage thanks to Cotton Guard drastically raising its melee defence.
"Now, use Sunny Day!" Ramos said.

The sunlight became harsh as Jumpluff used Sunny Day.
"How does Sunny Day help him," I thought. "There must be a trick coming up."
"Heads up, Hawlucha," I warned the fighting type.
"Jumpluff use Acrobatics," Ramos said.
"Dodge it," I said.
Jumpluff's already high speed allowed it to quickly strike Hawlucha with an Acrobatics before the fighting type could even react.
