"Sir, we've landed next to Mount Silver," Matori announced.
"Good," I replied. "Let's set off then."

The 2 helicopters had landed in the extremely remote and eerie location of Mount Silver. Hundreds of old legends have told people to stay away from this. The area was explored but nothing in spectacular was found. However, I always had an interest in this area. Ever since the first time I had heard of it, I was excited to learn its secrets. Even now, in my 40s, the excitement is still there.

"The mountain is right here," Archer announced. "Let's get in."

The squad to Mount Silver consisted of me, 2 of my best commanders in Matori and Archer and 10 elite team rocket troops. We entred the mountain, very much wary of our surroundings.

"Listen up team," I said. "Mount Silver is home to some of the scariest pokemon on the planet. We have to look lively and not make any error. Now, let's move out."

The hours passed by and we found nothing. We had gone into the far interior of the mountain. We had had many close calls, especially when we were suddenly face to face with a 3m tall Tyranitar and had to retreat. However, nothing was up.

"Sir," Archer said. "It's been hours and we've found nothing. It's already dark outside."
"I know that Archer," I said. "Let's rest up in this large hollow cavern. What's our altitude Matori?"
"-247m" was the answer.
"We have gone quite deep," I said, looking at my own meteor fragment. "The fragment's resonance has not increased one bit. Let's rest up here for the night and continue tomorrow."
"Right!"

The team rocket grunts and admins got out their tents and readied themselves. They had their dinner and went to sleep. I myself did the same.
After we all went asleep, everything was in deep silence. No sound was made. Then suddenly, something woke me up. I don't know what, but something woke me up. I got up from my makeshift bed and got out of my tent. I sensed the sound came from nothing but my fragment resonator. I looked at it and got the shock of my life the resonance had increased so much that it started glowing.

I was alerted. It meant that whatever my fragment was resonating to, it was quite near. I decided to investigate for myself and not wake up the others. Carefully, I got up from my tent and went to the direction it resonated the best. In a shock, it resonated best to the wall just behind my tent.

"There's something behind this wall," I said. I turned on my torch and stared at parts of the wall. It was the same all throughout, unlike the wall in Mount Moon which had a marking. Out of curiosity, I pointed towards the floor and then noticed something, the floor felt hollow beneath my right foot but quite firm below my left. I moved to the right, and the entire part felt hollow.

"The floor is hollow below here," I thought, "there must be a reason for that."
"Giovanni sir," Archer said, coming up behind me.
"Archer, I think we found the route," I said. "Wake everyone up and get the shovel. We are on our way to whatever the meteor fragment is responding to."

Soon, the party was in full action. Everyone was woken up and the shovels are brought out. Within minutes, the floor was broken and a hole was revealed. However, tied to the hole was a giant ladder leading into the depths of the earth.
"Let's get in," I said.

On command, the Team ROcket members followed me down into the depths of the earth. It was then when I noticed something. The walls are turning a bluish-purple similar to the one in Mount Moon.

"Is there another Meteor Fragment here?" I thought to myself. "Or is it something else?"

The ladders suddenly came to an abrupt end as I was standing in a narrow passageway. Archer saw me stop and hailed.
"What is it, sir?"
"The ladder has ended," I said. "What's the alitude, Matori?"
"-553 m," Matori said. "We have gone over 300 metres into the earth. And it's around 4 AM."
"Great, let's go," I said.
"I wonder what we will find here," Archer said.
"Notice these walls, they are purple," I said. "It's likely there's another one of these here."

"So, with another one we may be able to take control of Mewtwo," Archer said.
"Exactly," I said.

We kept along the narrow path one which seems to have been untrodden for generations. The passage kept on being increasingly purple and went deeper and deeped into the earth. After what seemed like an eternity, we finally found ourseleves into gigantic cavern. I went in, turned on my torch and stood in awe.

In front of me was a giant temple like building, glowing bright purple similar to the walls had. Its beauty could only described with superlatives, made with bright green jade. The others joined in with me, also in awe.

"What is this place?" Archer asked.
"This is where the fragment is kept I presume," I said. "Come on!"

We entered the temple and we saw that it was mostly hollow. Except for the walls. On the walls there were several paintings. I turned on my torch on it, and so did the others.

On the painting were creatures, similar to pokemon, but so much different. They were around 3 meters high and had 7 limbs, 5 arms and 2 legs, one of those coming from inside the chest. They were purple in colour and had beams coming out of the centre limb. There faces were not distinguished at all but rather, very simple. 1 eye and 1 mouth. That's it. They were purple in colour, similar to the one of the meteor fragment. They were firing light beams towards what looked like primitive humans, trying to fight back with sticks and rocks.

"What are these?" I asked, in wonder.
"Have never heard of any of these," Archer said. "I have gone through countless sources of ancient history but never have I found a single information of any of these creatures. Or how they came to be. Or how they disappeared.
"Let's see the continuing paintings," I said.

The next painting had many people bowing to what looked like an ingot of gold and silver.
The next painting had pictures of Ho-Oh and Lugia apparently in the same position as the gold and the silver ingots.

"What does Ho-Oh and Lugia here mean," I asked.
"We'll likely see it in the next picture," Matori said.

We flashed our torches onto the next picture only to find that there was not any more pictures.
"That's strange," I thought. I flashed my torch around saw a red cloth draped over the middle of the wall at the end. I came to it and flashed my torch.

There were many strange unown markings written here. I myself was not the best at reading them so I called in Archer, who translated it for me.

"6 fragments, 6 regions, 1 core. The path to the secret path will be unlocked. The secrets to fusion will be revealed."

There was a divider between the first writings and the econd so Archer had to flash his torch down and then read.

"The lord of Gold and the lord of Silver will come save thee. From the Darkest Hours of the World."

"This is interesting," I said, after listening to Archer's full detailed translation with the utmost attention. "6 fragments, 1 in each region, and 1 core. They will unlock true power and the secrets to fusion."

Archer touched the cloth and it was hollow behind it.
"Hey, Giovanni," Archer said. "There's hollow behind this cloth."

The cloth was removed and a narrow and short passageway was revealed. It led to a room and in it was a glowing purple rock, the meteor fragment. Behind it was a painting, one which showed Ho-Oh, Lugia and many other pokemon alongside humans beating back those creatures.

"Well, Team Rocket," I said, "we have work to do."
