Keeping you as a secret from his parents - Felix

You and Felix were cuddling on his bed. You both had just woken up and the sun was peaking through the window curtains, making you squint your eyes.

"Morning baby~ Did you sleep well?" He smiles sweetly and ruffles his hair messy hair.

"Mm," you reply, still half asleep. "What are we gonna do today?"

Felix gets interrupted as his phone starts to ring out of no where. Rubbing his eyes, he tiredly answers it.

"Hello?"

His morning voice had you giggling and you just watched him since you didn't want to get ready for the day yet.

"What?!? Now?!" Felix's eyes widen and he immediately sits up straight, startling you. "N-no, it's a perfect t-time... Okay... bye.."

"Hey, you okay?" You sit up aswell and tug on his shirt. He looks at you and immediately gets out of bed, pulling you out with him.

"What are you doing- AH!!"

He pushed you into his closet and closed it, making you confused.

"Felix!! Let me out of here!!" You banged on the door but he held it shut.

"Shh, just stay here for a little bit alright? I need you to stay quiet for a couple minutes," he pleads.

You wanted to say no since this was completely freaking you out, but the way he had opened the door slightly to give you a kiss on the forehead made you go soft.

"Fine... but you better explain whatever this is to me later!" You pout and he nodded before leaving the room.

You slid down onto the floor and pulled your knees to your chest.

"What's gotten into him? He just throws me into his closet and asks me to be quiet like it's normal..." you sigh, not understanding a thing. "It's like he's trying to keep me hidden... but that doesn't makes sense, why would he?"

You shook your head to get rid of the thoughts and waited until Felix came back. Eventually he did and once he opened the door he acted as if nothing ever happened.

"So?" You raise your eyebrow at him.

"Hm? So what?" He asks innocently, making you slightly annoyed.

"So what? You said you'll explain what just happened earlier."

"Oh that? It was nothing. Don't worry about it," he continues to dodge the question and after 15 minutes you couldn't take it anymore.

"Felix!! Why won't you answer me!!!" You yell, clenching your fists.

He stays silent, nervously chewing his bottom lip.

"Yah!! I want an answer!!"

"Okay, okay, I'll tell you! But it's really not important!" He raises his hands in defense.
"My parents came to visit me just for a bit since they forgot something here, so I hid you."

"....What?"

You couldn't believe what you were hearing. He hid you away from his parents, after both of you have been dating for a year? Does he not want them to know you're his girlfriend?

"Felix, what the heck?!?! Why didn't you let me meet them?!? You've already met my parents, shouldn't I be able to meet yours??!" You argue, slightly offended.

"Well, I don't know. You could meet them another time. Maybe a couple years from now." He shrugs his shoulders carelessly.

"What's wrong with right now? Are you embarressed to have me as your girlfriend? Do you think your parents won't like me? Do you not like me?" Your voice was breaking and tears brimmed your eyes.

No wonder he's always acted so weird when it came to his family. Whenever his parents were going to school for a parent teacher meeting, he'd always tell you to hang out with your friends and not to go see him for the day.

He's always tried to be unaffectionate when they were around. You've seen them before but he never tried to tell them that you're dating.

"Why are you crying?" Felix asks confused.

"What do you mean why am I crying!?? You're hiding me from your parents, how am I not supposed to be upset!?! Am I just a secret?? Is that all?!?!"

He still didn't seem to understand your point so you ran out of his apartment heartbroken.

Is this normal? Are you supposed to be kept hidden? Is that what normal boyfriends do? You've always wanted to see what his parents are like. To let them know that you truly love Felix for who he is, but it seems like that won't happen.

On your way out, you tripped on the doormat and fell backwards. Closing your eyes, you expect to hit the ground but felt nothing. Instead, familiar arms wrapped around your waist and held you against his chest securely.

"Y/n, where are you going?" Felix asks worried.

"Felix... Am I supposed to be unknown? Are your parents not supposed to know that I'm your girlfriend? Will I be hidden for the rest of the time we date? Or will you break up with me by then?" You sniffle.

All of your other friends have talked about how nervous they were to meet their boyfriends parents. You wanted to aswell, well maybe not the nervous part but... you wanted to make a good impression. Are you just overreacting? Maybe you're just being too needy.

"Y/n.... I didn't know you felt this way.. I'm sorry, I'm really sorry..." he pulls you into a tight hug, wrapping his arms securely around you.

"D-did I say all of that out loud?" You hide your face in his chest and you could feel him nodding.

"Yeah. I promise you'll meet them one day. Actually, why don't I ask them to come over next week? Then I could finally introduce them to the love of my life," Felix smiles cheekily making you smile.

"I'd love that."
