"I love you too."

"Ahem."

"Izu...?"

Izuku spun around quickly, his teary eyes meeting blurry purple.

"H-Hito!" Izuku rushed over to his side, taking hold of one of his hands as he pressed the button to summon a doctor.

Hitoshi squirmed in his bed a little, blinking blearily as his vision cleared.

Looking up at his boyfriend, Hitoshi could see the dark shadows under his eyes that rivaled his own, the two little tears that escaped his eyes as they fell down his cheeks, and felt the way he squeezed his hand.

"Izu," Hitoshi said again, voice raspy as his throat felt like sandpaper. He reached a shaky hand up to his face before it landed on the ventilator mask.

"Stay quiet, idiot," Izuku couldn't help but laugh a little, "you shouldn't take off the mask until the doctor removes it, so you're just going to have to deal with a dry throat for a little longer."

And, in Hitoshi fashion, he stuck out his tongue.

Izuku missed his boyfriend.

"Everything looks to be in order," Dr. Moshi said, checking Hitoshi's vitals as Mina and Izuku sat by the boy's bedside.

Holding the glass of water Izuku had Mina bring in, Hitoshi took a small sip before clearing his throat. He was thankful that tDr. Moshi removed the ventilator mask, even if he only had to deal with it awake for a few minutes.

"So, when am I able to leave?" He asked. Even without use for a week, his voice was as alluring as usual. Izuku's pretty sure that's part of his quirk, a naturally appealing voice so that more people respond to it.

Or, he's just whipped and loves his boyfriend's voice; no one knows.

"I'd say in about a day. While we have many specialists with healing quirks, you had so little energy when you came in that we had to put you in a medically induced coma, as you know. Now that you're all rested, we'll be able to heal you quickly. We'll heal you later today, then keep you overnight to make sure everything is fine; then we'll check you over one last time tomorrow morning, then you'll be able to go home tomorrow afternoon."

"Thank you, Dr. Moshi," Izuku said, bowing his head as thanks. The doctor just laughed a little before waving the boy off.

"Nonsense, Izuku, I'm just doing my job," Dr. Moshi walked over to the machines for one last check-in before making her way to and out the door with one last wave.

Once she left, Mina stood up from her chair and walked over to Hitoshi before she gave him a firm yet gentle hug, making sure she didn't aggravate any of the wounds they weren't able to heal at that moment.

"Hitoshi, I'm so glad you're awake," she whispered, nuzzling her face into his unruly hair, being careful her horns didn't get caught. Izuku watched with a soft smile.

"I'll get going and give you two more time for yourselves," she smiled, "but I'm glad the fluffy hair gang is back," all three of them laughed as she left the two lovers alone.

Sitting in comfortable silence for a few moments, Hitoshi cleared his throat, this time being fake before he turned to face his greenette.

"So," he scratched the back of his head in embarrassment, "come here often?"

Izuku couldn't help but laugh before he moved closer to the bed and moved so he could feel Hitoshi's breath on his cheeks.

"Just shut up and kiss me," he whispered before plunging in and stealing his lover's lips. Climbing up into his bed, Izuku faltered slightly as his knee missed the mattress before he finally pulled himself entirely onto the bed.

He moved his hands to hold his boyfriend's cheeks, holding him like he was the most precious treasure in the world or the most fragile baby squirrel.

As they turned their kiss into a full-blown make-out session, Hitoshi moved his hands to grab at the back of Izuku's hair, running them over his undercut before he pushed them and held at the more grown parts of his hair.

They both let out little noises, Hitoshi with short little pants and Izuku with small moans as the purple boy's tongue explored inside Izuku's warm cavern. They were both breathing heavily as they kissed, breathing in each other's breaths as their lips stayed connected longer and longer.

Breaking apart for a single moment, Izuku kept his eyes closed as he breathed into his lover's lips.

"I love you," he breathed, diving back in for another kiss before Hitoshi pulled away slightly.

"I love you too."

"Ahem."

Startled out of their little scene of heaven of finally being close after so long, they both turned, red-faced, to the sight of both of their sets of parents smirking at them.

"H-How long have you guys been here?!" Izuku screeched, holding onto Hitoshi closely like he was scared of him being taken away again.

Which, he was, every day. He couldn't imagine a life without the purple-haired boy anymore. He didn't even want to think about thinking about it.

"About when you said I love you," Yamada confessed, a dopey smile replaced his smirk for a second before he shook his head, and it morphed back into the mischievous smirk he was wearing before.

Izuku covered his red face with his hands as Hitoshi took the pillow from his bed and smashed his face into it.

"We'll give you two a few extra minutes to get yourselves...situated," Mihoko Shinsou said, ever the kind woman she was.

As the parents were leaving, Aizawa popped his head through the door right before it closed.

"Oh yeah, and no having sex in public places."

"DAD!"

Aizawa just shut the door with a huff, which was more like a full belly laugh for him.

Blinking awake to a dark ceiling, he sat up in his bed before stretching his sore muscles. Standing up from his bed with just one pillow and a single blanket, he ran his fingers through his hair as he made his way to the kitchen.

Pulling out the half-eaten box of cereal from the cabinet above the counter, he grabbed a clean bowl before pouring in the food, holding a spoon as he did so.

Bringing his bowl to the living room, he sat down on the couch before picking up the remote and turning on the tv, before setting down the remote next to him, eating his cereal dry as he watched the news.

Bringing the spoon up to his lips, he paused and froze as he watched the news anchor talk about the new number one hero now that All Might retired.

Burning the spoon with scolding hot blue fire, he glared straight at the man who did this to him, his silver staples and purple scars noticeable in the dark reflection of his tv as he turned it off with a growl.

"Endeavor..."
