After her mother released her from the embarrassing family hug and dried her eyes Eurielle knew she couldn't put off telling them about Nott any longer. Sirius sent her a questioning look, recognizing there was something else she wanted to say and was still may be too scared to say." What is it Ellie?" asked Sirius in a way that had her feeling comforted, almost as if her grandfather himself was asking.
Eurielle beamed at him before throwing her hair over her shoulder, " Um, so. . ." the entire room looked to her with almost concerned expressions, " What if I told you I got someone out of being an- erm a death eater and uh. . . y'know hid him for a few months in an old rundown building. . ."
She glanced over to Ginny whose face was buried in her hands in complete exasperation and then to her other friends who were looking at her with wide eyes and slackened jaws.
" And now he's at Grimmauld place taking a shower," she finished quickly, not being able to contain the awkward smile that for some reason wouldn't go away.
Hermione's hand flew over her mouth and Remus looked about ready to chew her out, " Are you talking about Theodore Nott?" inquired Harry with a pained look on his face, " The bloke whose dad's a death eater?"
Eurielle nodded, " Yeah," she replied slowly, " but look he's a good person and I've made sure that he's on our side. He doesn't want to be a death eater and he hates his father with his entire being, please just give him a chance." she said pleadingly to her mother and father.
Evelyn looked unsure before sharing a look with Sirius and Remus, " I think we should," she sighed, a faraway look in her eye- most likely thinking of her Uncle Regulus who too, like Nott, was dragged into this horrible war.

Theodore had decided to do as Eurielle directed. With the house elf's instructions, he found the bathroom and was able to clean himself of all the dirt and grime that had accumulated over the past two months. He had managed to keep himself fairly clean with the help of magic but nothing hit home like a warm shower.
He gathered his clothes from the canvas rucksack he had been traveling with and put them on, deciding to go down to the kitchen and gorge himself on whatever the hell the elf was making.
Theo shivered at the mounted elf heads on the wall, his father was cruel but this was just downright bizarre. He had heard things about the House of Black, and how the only pureblood heir left was a man who had been rotting in Azkaban since he was a baby.
He had known who Eurielle was but had been told her mother was an American half-blood, so he didn't bother to make friends with her if she had no social standing in his world. Draco had complained about her often enough during their adolescence, calling her a muggle loving whore and whatnot.
He had been surprised when Blaise would not laugh or chuckle as he would usually do, he supposed this was when his resentment for Eurielle began.
Theo had seen Blaise's lingering glances and the subtle ways he would flirt with her, and Eurielle being the person she was would flirt right back. This only made him conclude that she was nothing but what Draco had said, a whore.
At the Yule Ball, he had actually spoken to her as she was Blaise's date- and he had actually laughed with her. She joked with them about the papers and Rita Skeeter, treated them civilly and not like they were the scum of the Earth just because they were in Slytherin.
That hour had given him an insight into her character, Eurielle Black cared about a person's character and how they were on the inside.
But he refused to allow himself to like her because he was ridiculously jealous of her.
