Eurielle awoke in her bed. Her body was sore and her head throbbed. She thought back to what had happened the night previous and if she strained her ears she could hear the soft chatter of people below her. She supposed her family had gathered to discuss her hearing.
Her grandfather could no doubt get her out of it, and besides the use of magic had been warranted given the circumstances.
She felt gross, much like how she had felt after the Yule Ball when she had gone down to the Slytherin dorms with Blaise. . . she needed a shower.
Eurielle lifted herself up and just as she placed her bare feet on the wooden floor the door creaked open. She looked toward the entrance to see her mother. Her lips were parted and her eyes full of concern, " You're up," she said, stating the obvious, letting herself in with a basket resting on her hip.
She closed the door and sat the wicker basket down on an antique dresser that held Eurielle's clothes, " You splinched yourself last night," she said calmly, grabbing a vial of green mush, " I need to reapply the dittany to your wounds to prevent infection and make sure they heal without any bad scarring. "
Eurielle only nodded, her heart becoming heavy with guilt, " I'm sorry," she mumbled.
Evelyn shook her head and sent her a smile, " I know you are, darling," she said, moving toward the bed, her hands going to the bandages.
Nothing else was said while Evelyn tended to the cuts. When she was getting the gauze she summoned a glass of water, " I'm sure your head is hurting, and if you want a shower or bath I can cast a water repellent charm on the gauze. "
Eurielle agreed, " Yeah, that'd be good," she replied, taking the glass gratefully.
Though she was obviously alright she got the notion her mother wanted something from her. Eurielle guessed she wanted an explanation, but she didn't want to give her one.
Evelyn took a seat beside her on the bed and placed an arm around her, " I'm glad you're alright," she murmured, unable to keep the tremble out of her voice.
This had the unwanted effect of making Eurielle's eyes burn and a large lump form in her throat. Her mother continued, " I want you to know you are not alone, we're all in this together, Ellie. I promise you'll never be alone again as long as I'm here,"
Eurielle squeezed her eyes shut and willed herself not to cry, but still allowed Evelyn to wrap her in a warm hug. The teenager rested her forehead on her mother's chest, " I love you so much," she said softly
With a trembling breath, hot tears fell on Evelyn's shirt but she still continued to run her fingers through her daughter's hair, " I know how scared you must have been, and I'm so sorry you had to go through that," she said into her ear.
Eurielle let out a muffled cry and only pressed herself harder into Evelyn while her arms shook by her sides and her hands gripped the cerulean comforter under her.

Evelyn had ran Eurielle a warm bath and the young girl was quick to submerge herself in the flowery scented water. She pulled her knees to her chest and wrapped her arms around them, resting her head on top. Her silver eyes fluttered shut and she took a deep breath as she thought of what she was to do next.
They were going to need to know what had happened, but God she didn't want to tell them.
It was humiliating.

Evelyn searched through Eurielle clothes and pulled out a blue Ravenclaw jumper and gray sweatpants. She asked Kreacher to clean them and then she put a warming charm on them. Sirius sat in the drawing-room with Remus and her father, discussing the hearing that was scheduled.
