' I don't want to set the world on fire
I just want to start a flame in your heart '
Evelyn watched as her grandmother knitted scarves she would give to family friends as the holidays rolled around. Her cousins had gone down to the watering hole to swim, and she was glad to stay put. She had always hated water. So she had never bothered to learn to swim.
Her grandmother hummed along to the Ink Spots as she rocked back and forth in her chair, " Tell me honey," she began.
'I've lost all ambition for worldly acclaim
I just want to be the one you love
And with your admission that you'd feel the same
I'll have reached the goal I'm dreaming of, believe me'
" Why're you so afraid of swimmin'? When I was your age you couldn't ever get me outta the water," she chuckled, her green eyes taking on a faraway look as she recalled her youth, " My mama had to drag me out by my hair,"
Evelyn offered the older woman a half smile, " Well, I always had bad dreams about it," she explained with a shrug.
Her grandmother nodded, " Dreams can be scary darlin', my grandmother used to tell me dreams were messages you're soul would deliver to your heart," she said, " It's a pretty sentiment but the truth is dreams are what you make them, you can fear them, listen to them, or just take them as is- dreams,"
Evelyn frowned as she fiddled with her skirt, " What should I do then? How should I take my dreams?"
Her grandmother ceased her knitting and placed a wrinkled hand on Evelyn's, " How does it make you feel honey?"
'I've lost all ambition for worldly acclaim
I just want to be the one you love
And with your admission that you'd feel the same
I'll have reached the goal I'm dreaming of, believe me'
" Scared,"
She nodded and with a smile she said, " Then let it go,"
'I don't want to set the world on fire
I just want to start a flame in your heart'

Eurielle sat in Flitwick's office. It felt like someone's hands were over her ears and all she could hear was her heart, and though it was trying to beat out of her chest it sounded slow. The thumps were loud and agonizingly slow.
It was like thousands of stones were laying on her lungs, not allowing any air in or out. There she was, frozen in time. That's the only way she could describe it.
Frozen.
Her grandmother had been attacked, she didn't know if she was dead or alive.
The woman who raised her could be gone forever.
There was a lump in her throat as the anticipation built with every millisecond. How could time go so slow but be so short?

" Lindsey!" screamed Sirius as soon as he apparated onto the premises. His heart skipped a beat when he saw the door was blown to bits and a few broken windows, he could only imagine what the inside of the house looked like. He faintly heard two other pops behind him but he didn't care to look back at Remus and Dora.
