Eurielle stepped off the train with a long sigh and walked over to Harry who looked to be in deep thought as he stared at the barrier that led to the Muggle platform, " Dumbledore told you about the prophecies, didn't he?" she asked lowly, her eyes darting to the others who were talking eagerly amongst themselves.
He nodded, " Yeah but it's just a lot to explain . . . and honestly, I don't know if I can even talk about it right now,"
Eurielle looked into his tired eyes that still possessed a large amount of guilt, " Alright, I won't push, but . . . just so you know I'm here if you need me,"
He offered her a smile, " Thanks, your grandmother said she wanted me over for dinner sometime this summer, so I might-,"
Eurielle laughed, " Oh didn't you know?" she said with a large grin, rolling her trunk toward the barrier, " Lindsey Truelove's word is law, so yes, we'll definitely be seeing each other soon,"
Harry grinned and they passed through the barrier together and were surprised to see a peculiar group waiting for them.
There was Mad-Eye Moody, looking quite as sinister with his bowler hat pulled low over his magical eye as he would have done without it, his gnarled hands clutching a long staff, his body wrapped in a voluminous traveling cloak. Tonks stood just behind him, her bright bubble-gum-pink hair gleaming in the sunlight filtering through the dirty glass station ceiling, wearing heavily patched jeans and a bright purple T-shirt bearing the legend the weird sisters. Next to Tonks was Lupin, his face pale, his hair graying, a long and threadbare overcoat covering a shabby jumper and trousers. At the front of the group stood Mr. and Mrs. Weasley, dressed in their Muggle best, and Fred and George, who were both wearing brand-new jackets in some lurid green, scaly material.
Eurielle's eyes narrowed on their choice of clothes, " What are you two wearing!" she said in distaste.
A large smiled graced Fred's face at the sight of the Ravenclaw," Finest dragon skin, Black," said Fred, giving his zip a little tweak. "Business is booming and we thought we'd treat ourselves."
Eurielle rolled her eyes before practically tackling him in a hug, " It's only been a month, Ellie! Not a lifetime!" crooned George from beside them.
" Keep talking, Weasley and you'll find your new jacket being shoved down your throat," she hummed.
Fred laughed before pulling back, obviously not wanting to kiss her in front of his parents, " So you broke into the Ministry, fought death eaters, saved Sirius, and tackled Bellatrix LeStrange to the ground?" he asked.
Eurielle let out a huff of a laugh as she nodded, " You're not the only one who can break the rules, Weasley," she ridiculed. Her silver eyes shining with mirth at his shocked look.
Fred's jaw dropped, " Break!? No, Ellie, you bloody demolished them!"
The curly-haired witch laughed lightly, before turning to the others, allowing Fred to hug her from behind, " Anyway, what are you all doing here?"
Harry nodded, " Yeah, is everything alright?"
"Yes, but . . .Well," said Lupin with a slight smile, "we thought we might have a little chat with your aunt and uncle before letting them take you home.
"I dunno if that's a good idea," said Harry at once.
"Oh, I think it is," growled Moody, who had limped a little closer. "That'll be them, will it, Potter?
Eurielle looked over to see the three Dursleys, who looked positively appalled to see Harry's reception committee.
"Ah, Harry!" said Mr. Weasley, turning from Hermione's parents, whom he had been greeting enthusiastically, and who were taking it in turns to hug Hermione. "Well — shall we do it, then?"
