They would be leaving in just a moment and Eurielle stopped by the parlor to bid her mother farewell. She knocked on the door and turned the knob to see Evelyn watering a sapling.

The brunette looked up, " Hello," she said, a small smile on her face before returning to her plant.

Eurielle closed the door and stepped further into the room, " I just wanted to say goodbye,"

Evelyn frowned, setting the watering can down, " Oh? Where are you going?"

" Just away," she answered with a reassuring smile, " I'll be gone for a little while but I'll come back,"

Her mother nodded, a frown slipping onto her face. She approached her daughter and placed a hand on her cheek, her brown eyes meeting the girl's silver one, " I hope so," she said softly, " I've grown fond of you, though I can't understand why you're always so happy but so sad in my presence."

Eurielle was holding her breath, her heart thumped against her chest as she resisted the urge to hug the older woman. She only leaned into her touch and smiled, " I haven't the slightest clue what you mean, I'm only ever happy in your presence,"

A wide smiled replaced Evelyn's confused frown, " Goodbye, I hope to see you soon,"

Evelyn moved toward the plant but stopped before turning back to Eurielle, " Don't let him fall in the curtain, it would be really bad if he did," she mumbled.

And with that her mother returned to her own little world.

Eurielle looked over to see Sirius giving Harry a one-armed hug before ushering the bespectacled boy towards Mrs. Weasley. She moved past the redhead and neared her obviously gloomy father, " Oh, don't look so happy," she drawled.

He offered her the smallest of smiles, " I'll miss you," he said.

She smirked, " Well of course, how could you not," she said opening her arms for him to hug her, and he did. Eurielle's heart sank, " Take care of mum and yourself, for me okay?" she whispered.

His hold on her tightened, " Of course, you remember I love you okay?"

Her heart skipped a beat as she nodded, " Of course,"

-

She practically shoved Fred into a compartment before attacking his lips with her own, " Cooped up in that bloody house together and never being able to do anything sucked," she mumbled shoving her hands under his sweater.

He smiled against her full lips, " Impatient are you, Black?" he snickered before taking off her own sweater.

She scoffed, " Don't even try to pretend, I saw you looking at my arse and knockers for two weeks straight,"

Fred let out a howl of laughter, " Good thing we're dating and I don't have to be subtle," he laughed sitting her down on the seat and pressing kisses to her neck.

Eurielle snorted, " My father looked like he wanted to kill you, you're lucky my grandfather still doesn't know," she sighed tangling her hand up in his fiery locks.

" Nothing like talking about your dad to get me in the mood, love,"

-

It was the next day and Hermione and Eurielle were leaving Arithmancy, discussing Harry's lessons with Snape, " Knowing Potter, he's going to piss Snape off and be sent back to his dorm,"

Hermione frowned, " We don't know that, I'm sure Harry will be on his best behavior, considering the importance of the situation,"

The ebony-haired witch shook her head, " But he doesn't understand the severity of it, God he's thicker than Ronald,"
