Summer POV

It's been a few days since Y/n gave that...meanie... a beat down and somehow, he still hasn't learned his lesson.

Here I was, happily munching on a cinnamon roll, because I finally broke down and had Y/n make me one after he kept calling me one. And of course Cardin had to start trouble. As I munched on this new experience of Heaven, I saw that very same idiot sauntered into the room. Dr. Oobleck looked up to see team Cardinal, or as Y/n like to call them, Team Crundle. As much as the green haired speedster teacher hopped up on caffeine wanted to be impartial, I could see that flicker of disgust on his face as he saw them walk into the room. But the clueless idiots had no idea. They just swaggered across the room, pushing aside that cute little Bunny Faunus that Y/n saved last time. She fell, but was caught before she hit the ground by... nothing? She squealed as she thought she hit the ground, but was cradled by wind.

I turned to Y/n and couldn't help but smile as he held one handout as if cradling a child. As a warm, but tiny smile spread on his face, he mimes pushing her back up on her feet and it happened. The Bunny Faunus, Velvet, was beyond confused, but when she saw multiple pairs of eves watching her, she blushed and scurried to her seat. But as Y/n pretended that he hadn't done a thing, I saw three people notice. Ruby looked proud of her big brother, but didn't say anything to anyone. She knew why he didn't want thanks just as I knew. He didn't want them because he didn't think they were necessary, because it was just what he did, what he thought everyone would do. He was surprisingly dense when it came to how deep his hero complex ran. He definitely wasn't dense when it came to women, I made darn sure of that, but he didn't understand the selflessness of his day to day deeds. But...if there was one thing he had to be dense about, I guess that wouldn't be the worst.

Now that the one family member had been mentioned, I thought about the other two who saw him save Velvet. I couldn't help but grin mischievously as I looked at the two of them. Blake, the secret Faunus girl, and Pyrrha, the gentle warrior. Sorry Yang, in my eyes, these two girls were fighting for the spot as my OTP with Y/n.

Blake was cool, collected, and something about her tripped my mother's Intuition. I could tell she had her secrets, but honestly, I just wanted to hug her close and tell her it'd be ok. She obviously had a deeply rooted sense of morals because of the way she looked happy when Y/n or one of the teachers would help out a Faunus, or when Oobleck had talked yesterday about ancient slavery both of Faunus and of humans. She reacted more to the Faunus side of things, but still held sympathy for the human slaves as well. My guess? She wanted equality. She probably was even in the White Fang, I mean where else could a Faunus who wanted equality get training on par with what I had the day I entered Beacon? I had mentioned this to Y/n last night and he just smirked at me. His response?

"I already figured that. She probably left because they aren't fighting for equality anymore, only supremacy. But it is her secret to tell. I will not force it out of her as much as I do not want my story forced out of me."

I swear, sometimes I think he is some old soul born again. He was kind and wise beyond his years.

That brings me to the last one who saw him, Pyrrha. Now there was a great girl. She was nigh unstoppable, really her only equals could be found on Team BOLT. Semblance to semblance, Gray could take her on, but in pure technique? She beat everyone who wasn't born into a warrior line. So basically, Y/n was the only one who could keep up with her, semblance or technique. But what really made her special, was the fact that she wasn't affected by her fame as a world renowned fighter in a negative way. She wasn't prideful or bratty, she was kind and cared about everyone. I had seen the way that Y/n protected her from Jaune, he looked downright murderous. He knew exactly how strong she could be, and yet he still protected her because it was the right thing to do. Oh I'm so proud of my little boy.
