"ALEJANDRA?"
Napatingin agad ako sa nagsalita matapos umalis ni Isabella from the table.
"Oh well, we're suppostedly having fun here. Don't kill the fun here, Jaxon." sagot ni Alej sa kausap niya. Yung mga ibang babae na nandito ay nakamasid lang sa dalawa at sa akin na pasimpleng tinitingnan sila isa't-isa.
"Oh, cut the crap. You know her."
"Of course. I know her. She's my bestfriend and I know she can't be mad at me." nakangiting saad ni Alej at inakbayan ako. Nagkibit-balikat lang ako kasi nagulat ang mga mukha nila.
"If you don't mind me asking, what's going on?" nagkukunwaring tanong ko pero sa loob-loob, I'm more than satisfied. But I can't find the happiness within me.
"You should ask her instead. Isabella I mean." natatawang sagot ni Alej from my side. She pat my shoulder at kinuha ang sariling phone niya na nasa tapat ko tsaka siya naglaro ng Pou na dinowload ko.
"But remember this, face the consequences when you follow her." makahulugang dugtong ni Alejandra.
"Oh, Gracious God! That's absurb, Alejandra." hindi makapaniwalang saad ni Amaly na may hawak na tablet from her hand. She gaze her eyes up to us at binitawan sa table yung hawak niya.
She's workaholic. She looks scarily focused and motivated on her job... And to Alejandra's business. It's well-showed.
"I beg to disagree. I'll tell you guys, you'll all thank me later." sagot ng katabi ko pero mas pinagtuunan ko nang pansin yung mga taong nasa harap ko.
"What's your plan? You know Isabella very well." this handsome guys answered from the table. He managed to fix his hair while showing off his handsomely smirk.
"I'm sorry to interrupt your discussion but I think it's not neccessary for me to hear it. So if you excuse me." magalang kong pagpipigil sa usapan nila. I never wanted to show them that I'm interested kung ano man ang sinasabi nila.
I saw Adriana Alfonso waved her hand sa waiter at kinuha yung wine glass na iniikot from the hall. She smile genuinely and holy shit, she also the beauty. She really looks pretty and I don't know pero lahat talaga sila may ibubuga.
Tatayo na sana ako pero napahinto ako nang magsalita ang dalagang Alfonso.
"She may be cold-hearted but I guarantee you, she's worth it." seryoso akong napatingin sa kaniya pero kalaunan ay napangiti rin. I sit again and crossed my legs while composing my thoughts for she said.
"Hey, Adriana!" bulyaw sa sopistikadang paraan ni Amaly na mukhang tutol sa kapupuntahan nang usapang ito. "What's with you guys? If you we are not mistaken, Jonathan is coming tonight. So you better choose the right bet."
"Excuse me , Ma'am. I don't want to misunderstand things, but whatever you're thinking isn't what you think." sagot ko sa babaeng sobrang ganda nga pero mukhang sarap din sabunutan because she's showing her bitch side. Wala man lang preno like hello, I'm in front of them.
"I'm sorry, Erin right?" tanong ni Amaly. I slightly nodded to her on my serious expression pero ang iba ay napatawa sa reaction na pinapakita. I don't feel intimidated at all. Never.
"I don't know what's gotten into the both of you, Isabella and you I mean. But we have ethics and rules inside the University---" saad niya pero pinigilan ko. Humarap ako sa kaniya at tiningnan siya nang deretso.
Everyone here feel the tensions. The woman beside me, Alejandra Carpio is just smiling and never interrupt the conversation between her friend. Holy cow, Alejandra. I hate your side now.
