"Hi I was wondering if you're hiring any personal assistants", the dark haired girl asks in a light English accent. She knows in fact that there was a job offering as coincidentally someone's assistant resigned today to move to Hawaii.
"Ms.Cavanagh please put out a hiring notice, Mr.Rudzinski resigned today", a heavy Italian accent speaks up.
"Oh Mr.Russo we have a young woman right here who just asked about a job", the woman now known as Ms.Cavanagh voices. Turning to look at the girl the man can't help but chuckle.
"Well Claire it seems we just keep seeing each other", Leopold Russo jokes with a teasing smile.
"It would appear that way Leopold", the girl replies with her own joking smirk.
"Well Claire it's your lucky day. I happen to be hiring and I also happen to think you'd be a good assistant", Leopold says with a genuine smile.
"You're too kind Leopold, thank you", Claire thanks with a happy smile.
"Now follow me and we can discuss your contract", the man announces while turning on his heel.
"Yes sir", exclaims while following close behind him. In his office he takes the large leather chair while the girl claims the chair across from him. He pulls out a piece of paper that she assumes is a general contract.
"So, right now we need your address, basic information, documentation of citizenship, birth certificate, social security number, car details, and bank account information", he lists while reading over the form.
"Okay well I don't have a car, I live in Hell's Kitchen but have been trying to find an affordable place in South Central Park, I have my ID, birth certificate, social security card, and bank account information right here", the girl answers while getting her forged papers and backup bank account forms from her purse.
"That won't do, I'll get your car and living situation sorted, just give me a moment", he declares while taking her forms and picking up his phone. A few words are exchanged and numbers are tossed around so fast the girl can't comprehend it.
"Okay while we work out you pay I'm getting the other things fixed", Leopold tells the girl once the phone is hung up.
"Oh, well I was thinking 15 dollars an hour", Claire utters with a sheepish look on her face.
"You think you'll be able to afford South Central Park on minimum wage", he remarks with an amused smirk.
"Well I'm still living in Hell's Kitchen, it's cheaper so I can save up", the girl meekly replies.
"I was thinking 3,500 a week, this would also apply to when you have to go on vacation with me", Leopold declares with his ever sweet smile.
"Oh uh sure", Claire utters slightly overwhelmed. The man's phone dings and he looks down at it and quickly reads it over.
"So some of my workers picked you up a car and I got you a place in South Central Park that you only have to pay insurance on", the man voices not looking up from his phone.
"Wait what", the girl comments while staring at him with wide eyes.
"The car will be here in an hour, I can order you movers, and I'll show you around while we wait", Leopold says with an excited grin.
"Oh I can get people to help me move, it's one less thing for you to have to do", Claire puts forth with a thankful smile.
"Of course, now let's take a tour", the man exclaims while standing from his chair. He quickly walks around the desk to help the woman stand before the two are walking out his door. They trail through the floors of the large medical supply and pharmaceutical manufacturing headquarters. Lower levels are filled with labs and storage. The middle floors are used for cubicles sales and customer service. The upper level is for executives and of course the CEO Leopold Russo.
"So this will be your office", the man starts while opening a door next to his.
"It's gorgeous", Claire comments while spinning to look at the whole office.
"That door over there is connected to my bookshelf which secretly opens into my office", Leopold adds quickly.
"Thank you Mr.Russo", Claire professionally responds with a bright smile.
"You can call me Leopold or Leo still. Anyways it's about time your car gets here, so let's head out", he retorts while checking his watch. With a nod she follows him downstairs to the front lobby and out into the parking lot. A white BMW i8 sits at the curb with guards standing on all sides.
"Wow, Leo this is really too much", Claire exclaims as she whips around to face him.
With a cocky smile he hands her his phone and says, "Add your contact and I'll text you your new address. You can move in as soon as tomorrow morning. I'll give you a few weeks to settle in, so let's say you start on a Monday three weeks from now."
