Hair (Sirius Black)

A/N: Sirius always kept his hair the same, but when he watches his girlfriend re-dye her hair, he wants a change

3rd POV:
The only way you could differentiate the Arroway twins was by their hair and piercings. Jade had wavy black hair that cascaded down her back with green highlights or the occasional blue or purple and an eyebrow piercing on her left eyebrow.

Y/n Arroway also had black wavy hair like her sister but instead the under layers were dyed a light pastel purple and had piercing trailing up her ears.

"Where have you been all day pretty lady?" Sirius winked at his girlfriend when she walked into the Gryffindor Common Room.

"Jade and I went to Hogsmeade to get some more hair supplies, my purple is starting to fade and I need to touch them up. Don't wait up for me, I'll be in the bathroom the rest of the day." Y/n replied kissing him on the cheek before making her way towards her Prefect dorm.

"Hey, wait right there missy, I haven't seen you all day, I miss you." Sirius wrapped his arms around her waist propping his chin on the top of her head.

"You can join me if you want." Y/n shrugged walking towards her room. She opened the door for the both of them, changing her clothes into one of Sirius's old shorts and a pair of shorts and walking into the bathroom. This wasn't the first time Sirius watched his girlfriend dyed his hair, it also wasn't the first time he helped. While Y/n started her step up, pouring bleach into a bowl, Sirius grabbed one of the stolen shirts from Y/n's closet and rejoined her in the bathroom.

Y/n jumped onto the counter crossing her legs together while Sirius was behind her, starting to apply the bleach onto her hair. This was one of their favorite pass times, just the two of them together and usually engaging in some gossip that ran among their friend group.

"You will not believe who I saw at Hogsmeade today while Jade and I were out?" Y/n told Sirius.

"Who?" Sirius raised an eyebrow still working on her hair.

"The little Hufflepuff, Dahlia Archer and Remus." Y/n smiled. "They were sharing a butterbeer together."

"You're serious?" He asked.

"As you." Y/n smirked.

"I knew our matchmaking skills worked." Sirius cheered wrapping her hair up.

"Now all we need is Lily to say yes to Jamesie." Y/n laughed.

"You know I've been thinking?" Sirius turned her girlfriend around so she was facing him and he stood in between her legs.

"That usually doesn't happen a lot." Y/n joked.

"Anyways, I've thinking lately and I kind of want to dye my hair." He said.

"Really?" Y/n said shocked and started to run her fingers through his shoulder length hair. "I thought you loved your hair and didn't want it to change."

"Yes well, I thought about it, and if anything goes wrong I can just wear a hat and perform some spell to make it look right." Sirius replied.

"Well then, what were you thinking?" Y/n asked looping her arms around his neck.

"I want it to be like yours, so we can match." Sirius smiled tucking the front piece of her hair behind her eye.

"And do you want me to do it?" Y/n asked sheepishly and Sirius nodded.

"Yeah, let's do it now while we wait for yours." Sirius grabbed her hips and set her down on the ground and grabbed the chair from her desk and placing it in the bathroom.
