Around five minutes later I pulled away from the comforting embrace. I looked up at Gale, wiping the tears away from my face. He looked a little embarrassed, but more so worried.

"You okay?" He spoke, scratching his cheek while looking off into the distance.

"Sorry... I... I didn't mean to cause you any trouble." I mustered through my scruffy voice, from all the crying. He shook his head.

"I should apologize." He said, finally picking up his ice cream. "I didn't realize you were going through so much... I just... I just assumed you had it easy. I brought up thoughts you didn't need."

"Its fine." I assure calmly, picking up my ice cream. "I was the one who started the conversation after all."

"Still though..." Was all he said before scooping into his ice cream. We sat there in silence, slowly eating from our cups. Somehow, I felt better after speaking about my situation, the thoughts eating at my mind. It felt good to talk with someone about it rather then just bottling it away. I would have opened up to Cortney a lot more if I knew I'd feel this kind of relief. I suppose the setting helped my mood as well. I still felt sleepy from the sun's warmth at my legs. This park was beautiful, especially in the morning.

A spoon digging into my cup snapped me out of my thoughts. Gale had stolen a spoonful of my blueberry ice cream.

"I want to taste it. Hope you don't mind" He said, giving me a small smile.

"And in return you can have a spoonful of mine." He said placing a scoop of peach ice cream into my cup. I was surprised he was being so friendly. We were really sharing ice cream. Just a couple of days ago he wanted my face in the dirt.

"We should have don't this earlier. Sorry I wasn't thinking." He says, meaning the ice cream swap. I shook my head telling him it was fine. We continued eating in a comfortable silence.

After finishing the ice cream we laid back on the bench.

"Harvey, about your favor..."

"Its okay if you don't want to do it, really."  I assure him.

"No, I want to. Though I have to remind you I'm no soccer player." He warns. I lit up when he accepted. That made my whole day worthwhile.

"That's fine, your speed should cover it." I say smiling at him.

"Alright then. Wanna play now?" I shot him a questioning look when he asked.

"I can get a ball from the store right over there." He says pointing to a shop across the park. The location we were at had a lot of linked buildings, with most of them being stores.

"Yeah, if you're fine with it." I almost hop in my seat.

"Alright, I'll be back in a second. Stay there." He ran off, soon disappearing into the shop.

The sky is a bright blue today. Its like the sun is hugging everything. The grass blew from the gentle wind, while glowing from the bright sun. Bird songs swept the air, making me that much sleepier. I doze off for a bit, only to be woken up a moment later with a ball being shoved in my lap.

"Yo, wake up loser." Gale joked nudging me in the arm.

"Ah! sorry I didn't mean to fall asleep." I apologize. "Its just... really peaceful out here."
