Latibule
As the wolves sleep in peaceful darkness
Their howls silenced for the night
As the pups sleep soundlessly
Their blind blue eyes closed tightly
The wolf den was safe
For those of the pack
The female and her pups stay
Cramped together in the small cave
It was borrowed, nothing much
But the female felt the premature push
They had to take over the fox's land
As they welcomed new members to their band
A small cave near the water
Blind and deaf they came into the world
The wolves howled for their family
The wolves howled for their pack
Blessings from the moon shone in the night
The hope of the new generation becoming strong
New life was brought
In the dark and cold
Wet and grim
Cramped and dirty
Wolves den
