Hello

Hello,

I greeted the world

As sounds drummed

And colours swirled

Hello

I greeted my mother

Who would love and care for me

Like no other

Hello

I greeted my father

Who helped me grow

Ad pushed me further

Hello

I greeted my sister

Who grew up with me

Even after she found a mister

Hello

I greeted my brother

We usually fought

But we loved one another

Hello

I greeted my best friend

Who swore they'd stand by me

Until the end

Hello

I greeted my spouse

With a ring held our memories

Our love and our house

Hello

I greeted my children

As i brought them to this world

That we live in

Hello

I greeted death

As i loved and cherished

Every single breath
