the test results

The test results

There was tears

There was hugs

There was swearing

There was hitting

There was praise

There was hate

There was love

There was fear

It could change people's lives

Many more then they'd know

When a yes appeared on the screen

Or perhaps a no

They weren't prepared

In any sense of the word

There wasn't much urgency

But their feelings surged.

There wasn't much effort put in

And that made them feel the worst

But the results of the test

Made them want to burst
