dress-up
boys dress as the theives of the sea
girls dress as seductive women with wings
men dress as someone they desire to be
women dress to bring appeal

stereotypes are shaped
businesses are saved
lets play pretend
they're not leeching off us
our vulnrability to splurge
the profitable periods
the time of costume and pretending
of compulsive actions and spending

all the holidays, occasions and fun!

know what you are pretending to be
become aware of what you appear to be

cleopatra was a murdering queen
knights kill for what they believe

butt the devil was once an angel
frankenstein's monster was just a creation
ghosts hold sorrows that no man may know

there is both light and dark squares on a chessboard
play your peices wisely
and know whose image you betray
as your image could be seen differently by others
