Spider
The ghost was carried by a ribbon
Along the web of lies
To be eaten by the skull
With more then eight eyes
It grinned with no mouth
It laughed with no vocal chords
The lack of light was disturbing
Though the ghost shone like a star
The light couldn't be seen by the ghost
Yet it illuminated the ribbons
The ghost is not alone
There are billions of ghsots
Relying on their own ribbon ,relying on other ribbons to shine a light. To bring colour to bring vision
Each one destined to be eaten by the thing without a mouth, with infinite eyes, a grinning smile, a deadly aura
It's odd how we are in life's web.
Such a beautiful piece of nature
With a barbaric backstory
Al essence of fear maybe irrational
Held inside a tiny body which creates such beauty
We all rely on a silk ribbon
And other strings of life
