bound not by blood but by feelings
bound not by blood but by experience
bound not by blood but by memories
bound not by blood but by hope
bound not by blood but by knowladge
the sweetness of syrup satisfies and runs thick
the stems of flowers are tight in the crown of friendship
the warmth of a hug shines like the sun
the sound of laughter runs through the air like the refreshing wind
this is what friendship is to me
The bonds of friendship are like roots
the roots strengthen and support with each shared laugh and smile
the wonders of nature magically work
as friendship becomes a part of the family tree
when roots connect
tea or coffee
sweet or savoury
soft or loud
warm or cold
preferences may differ
but that doesn't matter
appreciation, happiness, joy
wonder, comfort, love,
freedom, acceptance, triumph
peace, wonder, contentness
Friendhip causes those things
hate, fear, isolation
doubt, depression, anxiety
guilt, sadness, loathing
desperation, lonliness, anger
friendship heals those things
a shared smile
a small glance
a single word
a joyful dance
Can all make a difference
a difference that lasts a lifetime
creating a bond
a bond which is sublime
friends become family
it's not a simple relationship
it's beautiful , complicated, strange, unique
but it's a bond wich will last forever
