It's poetry

Inspiration is strange

I want to write I want to draw

But what?

I have a picture , I have a story

But how?

I sit here, words in my head

No idea how to write them

Feeling like a youngster as I try to put words into words

As a poet poetics are abstract

Poems are songs without music

Drawings are memories and imagination put on paper

I write my thoughts

I'm not using fancy words

I'm writing and calling it poetry

But what is poetry?

I don't dwell on definitions

There is really no answer

That is why it's poetry
