A break up of hearts
The heartache and the pain
Shines brightly through the photo frame
The smiling faces
The laughter the chases
The rain was relentless
But the couple were fearless
The game of tag
Was a wave of a white flag
The couple were young
A beautiful song which was sung
But the song sadly ended
And the picture slowly faded
The memories however far
Have left a healing scar
But the lessons always stayed
The memories shaped
Two beautiful people
Whose story was a prequal
To the love in the sequal
Who see each other as equal
Though their hearts are far apart
The wisdom and strength in their heart
A break-up of love never forgotten
Which caused hearts to harden and soften
