"Oh my god I missed you" Liv beamed as she pulled Naomi in for a hug.

"Liv it was only three weeks" Naomi laughed

"Yeah three weeks, and now we're in the second term of uni and it's fucking four days till your birthday bitch!" Liv yelled

"Okay, okay calm down, you're more excited than me" Naomi commented

"Yeah I love birthdays. I always organise Joe's. So what do you want as your theme?" Liv asked

"Theme?" Naomi questioned

"Yes, theme. Normal parties get boring after a while" Liv explained, getting comfortable on Naomi's bed, as she watched her unpack.

"I don't know, you pick since you know me so well" Naomi offered

"Ooo I don't know, What about early 2000s? Where we only play early 2000s and 90s R&B, your favourite. And we get everyone to dress y2k? She suggested

"Okay I have to admit you do know me well" Naomi agreed

"So is that a yes?" Liv asked

"It's a yes if you organise it"

"Of Course!"

Liv immediately started to look for decorations and the perfect outfit for the party.

"Hey I'm gonna smoke sooo..." Naomi explained, so that Liv could leave the room. Liv didn't smoke so Naomi always ensured she didn't smoke infront of her.

"Naomi?" Liv asked

"Yes" Naomi answered, grinding her weed up

"I-I wanna try weed" Liv admitted

"Really?" Naomi questioned as her friend had showed an interest in it before but she never pressured her to try it.

"Yeah...Joe's always going on about it and I want to try it with someone I trust to take care of me if I don't like it. But I also wanna be good at it, if I do like it so that when I smoke infront of him I don't look like an idiot" She explained

"Awww I'm honoured, let me just say if you do like it, definitely smoke with Joe and fuck him. Cause let me just say...doing anything with a boy sexually, or you know by yourself, I'm not one to judge - a girl has needs. But anyway it feels good on a whole nother level" Naomi smiled

"Oh shut up and let's smoke" Liv laughed

"Okay little miss eager, was just giving you some tips cause I know you're missing that dick since we're back at uni" Naomi teased as she rolled the spliff.

She coached her friend through smoking and inhaling the weed correctly and the two were giggling messes by the end of the night. They watched films and snacked on McDonald's. She definitely needed to smoke more with Liv, it was a vibe.

Naomi had turned to weed a lot more since that night in Theo's room. She wanted to escape from the realities of what he said and started smoking more. It calmed her. It made her forget. It made her feel numb. She needed to feel numb.

As she reflected back on that night, she subconsciously began to play with the 'S' necklace around her neck. She liked Seb. She did. But she just didn't do relationships and she was pretty sure he didn't want one either, so no one was getting hurt. Right?

So why did she feel so shitty every time he had messaged her saying he couldn't wait to get back to uni and see her. Why did she come up with the excuse of wanting to spend the night alone her first night back, hoping he'd leave her be. Why did she not miss him as much as he said he missed her. She couldn't understand what was wrong with her.
