"I don't understand why you have to go to L'manburg so much... I mean-- I get it since It's Christmas... But nothing has really happened" I say as me and Tommy walked down the wooden paths of L'manburg "And I don't understand why I had to come along since you could of done all of this yourself...."

"Techno said he was busy, but that he'd come by later if we didn't make it back before it hits midnight. I'm just glad that you were willing to come with me" Tommy says "Thanks for that..!"

Tommy flashed me a quick and bright smile. One of appreciation and joy.

"I mean-- anything for a free Christmas hat, amiright?" I said half jokingly, playing with the little white puff ball on the hat on my head

"Yeah, yeah-- You're just lucky Ranboo had a spare one he was willing to give out to you" Tommy snarked

We continued to walk, we were currently going back home after a long and eventful Christmas day at L'manburg. We were walking up the polished blackstone brick stairs towards the nether portal to get back home.... but, we were stopped in our tracks upon seeing a certain someone blocking and guarding the nether portal....

...It was Dream.

...and he did not seem too happy to see us.... or maybe just Tommy in particular.

"Shields up" Tommy says in a quiet and low voice, sounding more serious this time around

I pulled out my shield and wheeled my precious netherite sword in my other hand.

"Hello Dream" Tommy said quickly

"Hello. How's it going?" Dream asks "If I remember correctly... You're not suppose to be here, Tommy"

Tommy stared at Dream, silent as a mouse. His breathing seemed oddly quick and sharp, but I could tell he was panicking silently. His skin was a little more paler than usual too.

I leaned closer to Tommy.

"....No need to fret, Tommy. I'll make sure to protect you from the green blob man" I said quietly to him

I then turn to Dream.

"What brings you here, Dream?" I ask

"Just decided to stop by.... And--- oh. This seems like a good time to mention it... but, Tommy. I got one of your music discs back" Dream says, turning his attention to Tommy after answering me

"What?" Tommy questioned

"I got it from Skeppy." Dream says, pulling out the disc to show to us

Tommy seemed surprised at this, so it means that it is the real deal.

Tommy always spoke about his music discs, and their importance to him.
And from reading the book, the declaration of independance and all the other books... it really shows how strong Tommy held those discs to his heart.

"...Tubbo has the other" Tommy muttered to me

Apparently all the conflict here will come to an end if those two discs are back in Tommy's possession....

..but is that really true?

"You screwed me over Dream. You manipulated me." Tommy hissed

"Tommy. I was the only one who visited you. I was the only person that was your friend" Dream says

"But you were terrible...!" Tommy exclaimed

"You betrayed me Tommy. You're not suppose to be here. You left, and now you're here! And you're causing problems... As far as I've heard-- you had a hostage!" Dream exclaims "With Y/N at that too!"

I mean-- that is true. But--- No one actually got hurt.... Right?

I really should have stopped Tommy doing that... But then again... It's Tommy.

"...You were the only one who visited me. Because-- you know what Dream? I'm the only one who goes against you. And you know what Dream..?" Tommy says

Tommy then sharpens his gaze on Dream.
"I think you're scared of me"

"Listen. You're going to come with me." Dream says, stepping forward towards us "or I'm going to burn your disc"

"Dream" I spoke up "Don't put that onto your bucket list, because it's not going to happen...."

I then walked in front of Tommy and pointed my sword at Dream, aiming the tip of the blade right dead centre of his forehead.

"...Because he's with me. And I'm not letting you lay a finger onto him."

Dream stared at me in silence for a while, before finally speaking up.
"Oh..? Are you sure?"

Dream them pulls out his sword and raised it to me, attempting to threaten me.

"I'm sure, Dream" I state, glaring daggers at him

Dream continues to stare at me, seeing the seriousness in my eyes, seeing my stance, my confidence radiating from me.

Soon after, Dream just chuckles and lowers his sword.

"Alright... You can live for now, Tommy" Dream says, walking away 

As Dream walks to us, me and Tommy turn to look at him, he passes over to Tommy, stopping for a moment and he creepily eyes Tommy.

"...Go to hell Dream" Tommy spat

Dream smirked "...Actually, you two are the ones going to hell-- you're literally about to enter a portal that will take you there---"

"Weren't you going to leave, Dream?" I asked, snapping Dream's attention away from Tommy

"...I'll take my leave then" Dream says, walking away from the two of us

Me and Tommy stared as he left, leaving our sight shortly after. Me and him then left for the nether portal, entering it and going to the nether.

"Oh my god- I literally just told Dream to go F himself---" Tommy cheered

I laughed at Tommy's comment.
"Yeah, yeah you did... Good job"

"And... uhh... Thanks, Y/N. For-- uhmm... Protecting me? I didn't need your help of course-- but thanks anyway" Tommy said

"No problem.... After all... We're pretty much like family now" I say

"Family? You see me as family?" Tommy questions

"Yeah... I guess so... You're like the little brother that I never had" I said

"Okay- I am NOT the little brother." Tommy says

"You are younger than me Tommy. You being a big man or not, doesn't change the fact that you were born after me." I say

The rest of the time, we continued to talk to eachother as we made it back to the Tunrda through the nether.
