The Emperor takes a long deep breath before he exhales. Being an Emperor was never easy and a happy position.
The path in the palace, everyone knows that it was dark and terrifying. He felt lonely and helpless sometimes. Being manipulative and scheming are inevitable as an Emperor.
He only wants the best for his childrens and because he has affection towards Park Jimin, he is determined to make him a part of their family. If Jeongguk really got married to him, he can rest assured. His third son is powerful, brave and very smart. He can definitely take care of Jimin, pamper him and protect him very well.
Both of them are men and can’t produce a child. That’s a bonus for the Emperor to feel free from thinking over how influential his third son was in politics. He will be worry free from thinking that Jeongguk will take over the throne.
As selfish as he is, he didn’t have a choice at all. The Emperor just wants his son to be happy along with his destined mate and lovers. He also aimed to pass his throne whether towards the Crown Prince or Fourth Prince later. Although, looking at the current Crown Prince’s achievement, the Emperor is disappointed.
Fourth Prince may be the best candidate to be the next Emperor. The Emperor also believed that his son, the Third Prince, also preferred his fourth brother over the Crown Prince. He knows that he gave the Fourth Prince a nudge to help for the riot at South City that was supposed to be handled by the Crown Prince but failed miserably.
The Emperor’s mind is in mess. All of the princes are his sons, flesh and bloods. But they all are so different in personalities that he had a hard time to understand them all individually.
Of course they all are different, Your Majesty! They all have different mothers, duhh! Even their thumbprint is different, how can their personalities be the same?
“Yoongi, take this night pearl and send them to Jimin. Say that this is a courting gift from the Third Prince!” Jeongguk hurriedly said once he arrived at his chamber.
“My Lord, will this make Park Jimin become more confused?” Yoongi asked.
“I know, but we don’t have time anymore. Tell him I will explain to him once the time comes.” Jeongguk said.
“Yes, My Lord!” Min Yoongi took the box that contained the night pearl and left the chamber quietly.
Jeongguk sighs. He guess it is already time for him to reveal himself to Jimin.
