The wedding day.

Jimin is already up at the crack of dawn to prepare for his wedding. Today is the day he will be married to His Highness Third Prince and it makes him feel nervous. Jimin never even once saw what his husband looks like as the Third Prince never appeared in front of him during their engagement at all.

He took a flower bath and soaked in there for quite some time. Although it’s early in the morning and the air is so cold, Jimin has to clean himself well. He asked his servant to put some honeysuckles in his bath tub for its fragrance. Jimin loves being fragrant and he always took extra care of his body.

After bathed, he smears mint cream all over his body to make his skin stay fresh and moist all day as the wedding ceremony will be tiring throughout the day. Before he puts on his wedding robe, he puts on his makeup, helped by his servants neatly.

Jimin stares at his reflection on the bronze mirror. He touches his forehead drawing, down to his nose to his lips. This face of his is perfect, only his eyes flawed. He bits his bottom lip, eyes drooping low.

Last night, he got a message from the Third Prince, asking him to not take anything to change his eyes colour. His Highness wanted him to stay as what he is and not conceal his beautiful eyes. Jimin almost choked with tears.
Jimin is so flabbergasted by His Highness’s consideration and tenderness. Maybe, marrying into the Third Prince’s Mansion is not so bad. His feelings to Jeongoo is still lingering back in his mind but he hopes only for the best for him.

“Young Master, you look so stunning and heavenly! The Third Prince will definitely head over heels for you!” Jiyoo, one of his maids, chirps.

“Jiyoo, mind your pronouns! It’s not Young Master anymore, it’s Prince Consort!” Dan scolded her.

“Oh, this servant is sorry, Prince Consort!” Jiyoo immediately corrected it.

Jimin smiles and this time comes along with a blush on his cheeks. He never thought being called as Prince Consort makes his heart thumping loudly. He never dreamed of marrying a Royal Prince, a person with high status because of his defect.

Now, he is going to enter the Prince’s Mansion, Jimin is feeling anxious whether he can carry the title well or not. Being part of the royal family definitely weighs on him more and he needs to be conscious, be careful of his actions.

“Jimin…” Jimin looks up and finds his father’s face full of love and adoration.

“Father…” He uttered.

“You look so beautiful! Father is so proud of you and father wishes for you to always be happy!” Prime Minister Park said, his voice vibrates, a sign that he is trying to hold himself from crying.

“Thank you, father! All this time, you have sacrificed a lot for me, protecting me, spoiling me and taking so much care of me. Thank you for everything. This son is unfilial, cannot accompany you everyday anymore!” Jimin tearing up.

“No, don’t say that you are unfilial. You are my son, my precious and my beloved, I’d do anything for your happiness. You have suffered a lot and it was my fault that I can’t shield you from those. Remember that this old father always loves you and is behind you, supporting you till the end of my life.” Park Sungjae hugs his son tightly when Jimin bursts into tears.

“Hmm, there, there, don’t cry will you? It will ruin your makeup. You need to be the most beautiful man today!” Prime Minister Park said, making Jimin chuckle.

“This son will never let you be disappointed, father!” Jimin smiles, eyes glassy.

Park Sungjae nodded before he kissed his son’s hair fondly. Jimin hugged his father again, basking in his scent, afraid that he would miss it after he married the Prince.
