Jeongguk told his husband about the Night Wanderer who was also in the room. Jimin bowed his head to him, saying thanks to him sincerely. The Night Wanderer nodded, looking high and mighty but Jimin knows he is not an ordinary human.
“I am sorry, but may I ask you a few questions?” Jimin sputter.
“What do you want to ask?”
“Are you immortal?” Jimin straightforwardly asked.
The Night Wanderer chuckles when other people in the room all widened their eyes with Jimin’s boldness question.
“I am not!” He answered.
“But, if you are not, how can you…” Jimin didn’t finish his word. His mind is puzzled.
“I am a mortal, I just only got a grace from heaven to watch over this mortal world.” He said.
Jimin nodded as he shut his mouth after that. He knows he shouldn’t inquire much about the Night Wanderer. After all, Night Wanderer is a blessing to this world. Jimin remembers his dream, meeting with a Goddess. Maybe that someone’s help that she told him about is Night Wanderer.
“Thank you, Master Night Wanderer! I owe you my life!” Jimin bowed again.
“Alright, it’s time for me to go! Prince Jeon, please keep the flute carefully. Only call me if you face immediate danger. Goodbye!” The Night Wanderer vanished in the air as soon as he finished speaking.
“Husband, I’m fully healed now!” Jimin said and Jeongguk embraced him again.
The Emperor congratulates them before he leaves the chamber along with Kang Soo. It’s been so long he hasn't had a good chat with Kang Soo so he invited him for a midnight snack.
Jimin is lying on Jeongguk’s chest, hearing his heartbeat made him feel so grateful. His fingers tracing over Jeongguk’s skin and his husband keep smothering him with kisses. He keeps saying he loves him and cannot live without him.
“I am sorry for making you worried…” Jimin quietly said.
“No baby, it’s okay! It’s my job to worry about you! I love you and will do anything for you, my love!” Jeongguk kissed Jimin’s lips.
“Can you see my eyes? Is it black now?” Jimin asked.
Jeongguk stares at Jimin’s eyes and indeed it turns to black, no more purple and blue like before. Although he loves Jimin’s purple and blue eyes more, he is more than grateful that his husband is finally cured.
“I want to tell you something, husband…” Jimin looks at his husband’s round eyes.
“What is it?” Jeongguk asked.
Jimin told him about his dream where he went to a beautiful place and met with a Goddess. He ardently tells him how she speaks to him and the pendant that she gave. Jeongguk feels his throat dry suddenly.
The way Jimin described the lady sounds so familiar to him. He touches Jimin’s pendant again and looks at it carefully this time. He found out that it was the same pattern as the gift he had given Jimin for betrothal gifts.
The hairpin was her mother’s possession and he gifted it to Jimin. His mother really had visited his husband’s dream and saved him. Jeongguk feels happy but at the same time he feels so sad that his mother left him and never came to see him again.
“She also said, because you are dear to a person that is dear to me! You deserve all good things in the world because of your pure heart and love. I’ll be watching you from here, think as if I’m your guardian! Please, live your life the fullest!” Jeongguk felt his heart tugged. His mother still cares about him.
“I want to ask more but I don’t have a chance to. What do you think of that person dear to her? Who is it?” Jimin pouted.
Jeongguk didn’t answer. Maybe one day he will tell the truth about his mother to Jimin but right now, he wants to keep it a mystery as it is. The lady in Jimin’s dream also didn’t reveal her identity, Jeongguk also had an obligation to not reveal it to anyone even if it is Jimin.
“Thanks to her, you are back in my arms, warm body, heart beatings, breathing beside me! Don’t leave me again, my love!” Jeongguk nuzzled on Jimin’s neck affectionately.
“I won’t! I love you…” Jimin was muffled in Jeongguk’s embrace.
“Love you so much…” Jeongguk whispered, tightening his hug.
That night, they spend it with intimate activities, touches hot and fiery, kisses long and passionate, body tangles with each other, face flushed, searing breath and intense marking to commemorate their love and affection.
A few days later, it is finally the day for the Fourth Prince to be crowned as a Crown Prince. Jeongguk and Jimin attend the ceremony to support his brother while both of them never entangled their hands from each other.
All people can see how Jeongguk is spoiling Jimin again at the palace and they can’t help but admire their strong and loving relationship. His Highness Fourth Prince also pampered his wife and people noticed that.
They praised the future Crown Prince for being affectionate towards his wife, following his brother’s steps. One who is gentle and fond towards their own partner and family will surely become a good ruler.
When the Crown Prince has been crowned by the Emperor, people congratulate and cheer with joy and wish for him to have a long life and great future. They celebrated the coronation joyously as they hoped for their country to always be prosperous and harmonious for a long long time.
“Husband…” Jimin whispered.
“Hmm?” Jeongguk replied.
“Let’s be happy forever!” Jimin smiles.
“We will be happy eternally! I love you…” Jeongguk said to Jimin’s ears, making him blush.
“Love you too…” Jimin tightened their hand holding, while sharing kisses.
