WHAT DID YOU JUST DO? — THE AFTERMATH OF A DRUNK DOYOUNG

Without a warning, Doyoung placed his hands on Eunbyul's cheeks, leaning in and kissing her. It lasted for a few seconds as she processed what was happening, and before Eunbyul could push him, he pulled away, a drunken smile on his face.

"W-What did y-you do t-that for?" She stammered uncontrollably as her face flushed at his actions. "That w-was m-my first k-kiss," the female quietly mumbled, awkwardly hitting his shoulder.

"My first too," he replied, his eyes droopy as he laid on his bed, pulling the covers over him. "I was curious." Doyoung's words answered her first question, and she spun around, deciding to sleep in her own dorm instead.

His curiosity almost killed me.

Park Eunbyul stood frozen in her place, her hand flying to her lips as she stared at Kim Doyoung in disbelief. What the heck just happened? She asked herself, only being pulled back to reality when Doyoung let out a groan.

She couldn't help but worry for the older, making sure he was feeling alright. "Doyoung-oppa, why would you even do this to yourself?" She grumbled, nudging the male to see if he was fully unconscious before making sure he was laid properly on the bed, adjusting his blanket over him.

"For your sake ... let's hope you don't remember any of this tomorrow," Eunbyul muttered under her breath, cleaning up the messy room — just in case the others dropped by to check on them.

Eunbyul was perfectly aware of what alcohol did to a person, and today, she got the first-hand experience of its effects. Sure, it was her first kiss, but she didn't blame Doyoung for taking it away from her. It was something that happened spontaneously in Doyoung's alcohol-induced state, and there was nothing Eunbyul could blame except the cans of beer he drank.

Well, it still is his fault for drinking.

Besides, she knew Doyoung inside and out to know that he didn't have any feelings like that towards her.

Since Doyoung was the only one in the dorm, Eunbyul felt bad leaving him alone. So she sucked it in and grabbed an extra pillow, settling on the bunk on top of Doyoung's bed. Throughout the night, she felt a burning sensation on her lips as she twisted and turned on the bed, unable to fall asleep with the constant images of the kiss flooding her brain.

The next morning came in quickly, with Eunbyul only getting a proper hour of sleep. Since it was an off-day for them, she laid in bed with her eyes closed, trying to erase her memories so she could get some sleep. However, she couldn't help but feel that someone was staring at her and peeked through her sleepy eyes, letting out a startled scream when she saw Doyoung real close to her face.

"What the f–" Eunbyul held a hand over her chest, letting out a harsh breath as she glared at the male. "Oppa, what is wrong with you?!" She smacked his head, and he got down the ladder with a forced chuckle.

"Good morning to you too," Doyoung grumbled, clutching his head as he forced a smile in Eunbyul's direction, not wanting her to know what he had done the night before. "Why are you so loud in the morning?"

Eunbyul got off the bed, muttering a quick 'good morning' before running towards the bathroom, opening the first-aid box that was in there. She looked through the medicines, trying to wrack her brains to remember which one was for hangovers.

Remembering the ones she occasionally left for Jihoon and Hyunsuk, she grabbed the card, hurrying out of the bathroom as she handed it to Doyoung with a bottle of water. "I think this will help. Jun-oppa says it does," she stated, clarifying further when the male looked at her in confusion. "It's for your headache."

"How did you know I have a headache?"

"Don't you usually get a headache the next morning after drinking?"

Doyoung's eyes widened in realization, covering his face as he figured the younger must have seen him last night. Wait, so the weird dream he saw ... was it not a dream? He thought to himself as he drank the medicine, not saying anything when Eunbyul moved around the dorm, talking about prepping breakfast or something.

But how can I know if it's not a dream? If I ask her, and if it's true, that's going to be weird. But if it's not true, then Eunie is going to find me weird for having these kinds of dreams. I don't even think of her that way. What the heck?

In record time, Eunbyul prepared some cereal — mostly because they were dieting to fit their outfits for their comeback. It was silent throughout the dorm, and Doyoung figured the others might've not woken up from their 'wild night'.

The two ate their breakfast, not much words being exchanged except for their plans for the day. Feeling like he had nothing to lose, Doyoung brought up the topic that was bothering him since the second he woke up.

"Eunie, when you came to the dorms last night, did I talk to you?" Doyoung asked, frowning when he saw Eunbyul bite her spoon, nodding hesitantly. "Did I, maybe, um, kiss you?" He didn't take his eyes off her, observing her every move.

"Why are you asking me that?"

"So I did."

Eunbyul let out a nervous laugh, scratching the back of her neck. "Well, I mean, it's a simply preposterous act, but it could be plausible that you might have just maybe have, you know, in your drunken state–"

"Eunbyul, in Korean, please," Doyoung butted in, not understanding a single word the younger had nervously muttered in English.

"My Korean vocabulary is not that big," Eunbyul retorted, avoiding eye contact with the older.

"So, I kissed you ... right?"

"Yeah."

"Well, now that you two got that out of the way, let's chat." The two turned at the painfully familiar voice, grimacing as their gazes landed on Jihoon, who stood near the doorway with Jaehyuk by his side.

Jihoon gave his infamous eye-smile while Jaehyuk sported a blank face. "Yeah, let's chat," Jaehyuk agreed, throwing his arm over Doyoung's shoulder. "Kindly elaborate on whatever you did to Byul."

Doyoung and Eunbyul exchanged glances, both visibly shaking as they sat in front of the members they feared the most when they were angry. Doyoung feared Jihoon, while Eunbyul feared Jaehyuk.

"It's really nothing, hyungs."

"Yeah, oppas. It's nothing at all."

One glare from both the older males, and the two spilled out everything they held in, staring at each other in disbelief as they realised they just dug out Doyoung's grave.

Yep, Doyoung just dug out his own grave with Eunbyul's help.

"Well, for starters ..." Jaehyuk trailed off, furrowing his brows as he looked at Doyoung. "I think Doyoung should apologise to Eunbyul, isn't that right?" He turned to Jihoon, getting a nod from him.

"Yes. Even if it wasn't intentional, you put Eunbyul in an uncomfortable position, so it's best if you apologise." Jihoon crossed his arms over his chest as Doyoung stammered an apology, with Eunbyul nodding her head vigorously as she forgave him.

Jaehyuk's stone-cold expression melted away, giving the younger duo a cutesy smile. "Great, good talk, kiddos. It's a good lesson for both of you. No more experimenting with alcohol, and no pitying a drunk person and staying with them." He gave the two pointed looks, his gaze hardening as it landed on Doyoung.

He wasn't off the hook yet, and everyone in the room knew that.

Jihoon cleared his throat, gesturing Eunbyul to leave the room, before resting his arm on Doyoung's shoulder, with Jaehyuk mimicking his actions.

"Now that everything's out of the way ... Doyoung, please accompany me and Jaehyuk to your room. We need to have a chat about some stuff."
