"MISS DONĆIC, please do give more time to your studies," anang Profesor niya sa accounting. "You're not failing but you're always at the end of this class. An average grader compared to your brother Prius who always excel in his class I remember when he was still here."

Nakagat ni Auri ang dila niya para pigilan na sagutin ng pabalang ang nakakainis niyang buntis na Profesor na wala ng nakita kundi siya mula ng mabuntis.

Nakakainis! Ako pa ata napaglihian.

"Are you listening to me, miss—"

"Blimmin'," Auri whispered under her breath, "yeah, ma'am," she said aloud enough for the professor to hear and the rest who was inside the room.

"Ay, kapatid pala siya ma'am ni Prius? Now, I am not surprised with the special treatment—"

"Miss Seldombath, there is no such thing as special treatment in this university," istrikto na putol ng professor nila. "I advise you to refrain from saying it again without proof at hand or you'll be expelled from this university. Worse thrown out of this island."

Natahimik ang kaklase niya at narinig niya ang tahimik na paghingi nito ng paumanhin.

Umikot ang mata ni Auri.

Ano naman kayang special treatment ang sinasabi ng babaeng 'yon? Kung iyon ay ang pagkausap sa kanya ng tatlo niyang Profesor para sumali sa beauty pageant ang tinutukoy nito, eh, ang baba naman ng rason niya for special treatment.

Malalim na lang na napabuntong hininga si Auri saka isinuot ang headset nang makalabas ang Profesor nila para hindi marinig ang bulungan ng mga kaklase niya dahil sa nalaman ng mga ito na kapatid niya ang dating sikat at matalinong estudyante ng DHU.

But her mind went on to think if it's wrong if she doesn't par with her brother's intelligence.

She doesn't give a blimmin' fuck if her brother is intelligent and gets all the praises from their parents and from the people that know both of them. She, herself is a fan of her brother.

But do people must always compare them? When there's no comparison at all and they are far from competing with each other.

Do their parents has to shove her to the side because they didn't like that she was just an average brainer? Compared to kuya or their selves that garnered every medal out there while studying and graduated as a cum laude.

Auri slyly huffed from building frustration inside her.

Hay... buti na lang siya ang the best sa paningin ni kuya Prius na siyang iniidolo niya. Kahit anong baba ng tingin sa kanya ng iba ay hindi siya apektado.

After all, it's her kuya that's the most important person in her life. The one that she knew will always be there for her ups and downs.

Natapos ang buong araw na klase niya na tahimik at wala siya sa mood. Sino ba naman ang gaganahan kung sa unang subject pa lang sinira na ng buntis.

Tamad at mabagal siyang naglakad patungo sa kotse niya pero natigilan si Auri ilang metro ang layo nang makita si Rage na nakasandal doon at nakakrus ang braso habang nakatingin sa kanya.

Bumilis ang tibok ng puso ni Auri at biglang nawala sa isipan niya ang mga kinaiinisan niyang tao at pangyayari. Pero napaingos siya nang may maisip.

He's again here. Then he'll disappear again. They'll meet— talk about stuff, see each other for a few minutes, sometimes stealing glances at each other like thieves in cohorts then he'll again disappear for a few weeks sometimes months. Tch.
