You sighed as you stared at your ceiling. Your blanket was barely on you and even though you were cold, you had no intentions of adjusting it. The sun was bright through your window but you didn't know that. You had done everything you could to mask its cheeriness. Today was just one of those days. One of those days where all you wanted to do was lay in bed, do nothing and listen to the sweet tunes of the radio.

A familiar beat met your ears and you couldn't help but smile. You closed your eyes and began to sing along. As the words fell out of your mouth, you found yourself reminded of Stan.

"I just wanna tell you how I'm feeling

Gotta make you understand." You sang, lightly tapping your foot on the bed.

"Never gonna give you up

Never gonna let you down

Never gonna run around and desert you

Never gonna make you cry

Never gonna say goodbye

Never gonna tell a lie and hurt you."

Except, that's exactly what you had done. You had said goodbye. You had given him up. You had deserted him. You groaned loudly and pushed your face against your pillow. You were so wrapped up in your self-pity that you didn't even notice that your (g/n) walked in until you felt the bed dip slightly beside you.

"(Y/n)..." (S/h/t) trailed off. You grunted, signaling (h/h/t) to continue.

"What's wrong?" (S/h/t) asked. You sighed and moved your face away from your pillow.

"Nothing. I'm just not feeling very good." You replied.

"It seems like your always 'not feeling very good'. You're unhappy here, aren't you?" (S/h/t) asked.

"No, I'm fine (g/n). It's probably just because I'm getting older." You mumbled. (S/h/t) raised (h/h/t) eyebrows before standing up.

"Oh, okay. If that's the case then I guess you'd still be out of it if we moved back to Derry." (S/h/t) said as she began to walk away. As soon as the words reached your ears, you sat bolt upright.

"Pardon?" You asked, not believing what you had just heard. Your (g/n) smiled.

"Well, I overheard my boss saying that he was letting some people go because of budget cuts. I thought it'd be nice if we sold all this fancy stuff and bought the next ticket to Maine, but, since it's just 'getting older', I'm sure you'll still be sad there." (S/h/t) said. (S/h/t) began to open the door but before (s/h/t) could leave, you stumbled out of your bed.
