You swallowed, walking through the broken door. The smell of mold filled your nostrils as your feet pressed against the creaky floorboards. You looked over your shoulder as your brother stared at you, his eyes wider than usual. A smirk danced across your face.

It wasn't long before Bill, Eddie, and Richie followed you in, still marveling at the fact that you had told Richie off. You began to walk across the living room, keeping your distance from the others.

"(Y/n), stay close! For fuck's sake, do you want to get killed?" Richie shouted as he ran after you. You rolled your eyes.

"I don't need you looking after me anymore Rich. Didn't you hear me say-"

"You're not 'Baby Tozier' anymore. Yeah, I got that, but I'm still not gonna let a damn clown bitch kill my family." He replied. You scoffed before a small creak interrupted the both of you. A quiet "Hello" echoed through the house. You began to walk up the stairs, the greeting becoming louder. As you reached the top floor, you saw something that made your skin jump from your bones. On the floor was a girl who looked so familiar, but not at the same time. She coughed several times before looking towards you.

"Betty..." Bill started

"Ripsom?" Richie finished. It was silent for no longer than two seconds before she screamed and was dragged away. Everyone gasped. They began to slowly walk forward, but you kept still, rethinking your decision. Maybe coming in here wasn't the best idea.

"I think... I think I'm gonna go back outside." You mumbled. You slowly began to walk backward, not paying attention to where you were going. After a few more steps, your back hit something prickly. You whipped around and saw a tall hedge.

"What..." You trailed off but stopped when you heard a loud slam. You looked behind you and saw nothing but a solid wall of more hedge. Your eyes widened as you began to push it, knowing it would do nothing but desperately trying to do something.

"No. No, please! I don't want to be alone! Please!" You screamed, ripping at the seemingly infinite leaves. After nothing happened for a solid minute. A quiet, yet sinister laugh met your ears. You knew you shouldn't have looked behind you, but with the hairs standing up on your neck you couldn't help it.

There it stood, towering over you. Its eyes were gleaming as it stared at you, watching you like a cheetah watched its prey. You were paralyzed with fear. You knew you had to run but no matter how many times your brain screamed at you to leave, your legs wouldn't listen. You backed away slowly, barely finding the strength to move. You sprinted away from it, going as fast as your body would let you.

You couldn't tell where you've been or where you were going. The walls seemed to get higher and higher the more you ran. You weren't even sure if he was still chasing you or not. Your throat became dry as you realized this would never end. You leaned over and let yourself go. Tears began to stream down your face as you choked on the air. At this point, you didn't care if it got to you. You had given up.

"(Y/n)?" Someone shouted. You looked up as you heard that familiar voice.

"Richie? Richie is that you?" You screamed, standing up as fast as your body would let you. Loud footsteps echoed through the maze. A silhouette approached and you lurched yourself forward, finding the comforting arms of your brother waiting for you.

"How did you find me?" You asked, your tears surely soaking through his shirt.

"That doesn't matter. I'm just glad you're okay." He said, his voice shaking slightly.

"Rich, I want to go home." You whispered. He squeezed you tighter.

"Of course (Y/n)."
