"Look at them, they're amazing!" Richie said as he watched you from across the field. Bill glanced up and rolled his eyes.

"S-seriously Richie? T-they're literally just throwing t-t-trash away." Bill said, not even sparing another glance.

"That's exactly my point! They could literally be covered from head to toe in gray water and they'd still be hot!" He exclaimed and threw his arms up. Beverly laughed as she heard this. He glanced at her as an idea popped into his head.

"Hey Bev, you're friends with (Y/n) right?" He asked.

"I guess." She shrugged. He gave a large smile and placed a hand on her shoulder.

"Bev. Bevvie. Beverly. Be-"

"What do you want from me, Trashmouth?" She interrupted.

"Now, it's not too much. I just need a bit of information so I don't look like a fucking idiot when I ask them out." He replied. Eddie choked on the water he was drinking.

"Wait, you're really gonna ask them out?" He asked. Richie nodded. They all exchanged glances and it wasn't difficult to tell that most of them were trying to hide their laughter. Richie scowled.

"What? You don't think I could make a good boyfriend?" He asked, clearly offended.

"Well Rich, you're just not the romantic type," Ben said with a shrug. He glared at all of them.

"I'll show you. I can be romantic! Bev, you've gotta help me out now. Name your price!" He shouted. Beverly laughed.

"Two months allowance." She stated. He gasped.

"Two months!? Do you know how many arcade games I could play with that? Two weeks." He bargained. She thought for a second before holding out her hand.

"One month and no more being all googly eyes over them." Richie looked at her hand for a second before giving in.

"Deal." She gave a satisfied smile and stood up.

"I'll be back." She said as she walked towards you.

"Hey (Y/n)!" She called. You looked up from your notebook and waved. Giving you a small smile, she sat.

"How's it going, Beverly. Haven't talked in a while." You said and closed your notebook.

"Yeah. I've been hanging out with them a lot." She said and ushered to the small group of five boys. When you glanced over one of them immediately caught your eye, just like he always did. You blushed and turned back to her.

"So what's up?" You asked. She gave a light sigh.

"I was hoping I could swing by your place after school and get some help with the homework from Mr. Archibald's class. You're super good at math and I'm having a bit of trouble." She asked. You were a bit surprised at first, Beverly had always been good at math, but you agreed anyways. Some quality time with her wouldn't be too bad.
