You laughed as you watched your friends bicker. Years had passed and Lucas and Dustin were still the same doofuses you knew when you were kids. Sure, they had matured physically, but they would always stay the same 10-year-olds at heart. You sighed and shook your head.

"I will settle this argument right now... Street Fighters II is obviously better than Street Fighters." You said loudly, interrupting both of them.

"Thank you (Y/n). What did I tell you, Lucas." Dustin replied. Lucas huffed.

"Seriously (Y/n)? You're on his side? Street Fighters is- It's so clear that- Look, here comes Max, she'll know!" Lucas replied loudly. Max raised her eyebrows as she approached.

"What am I being forced into?" She asked, walking up next to you and casually dropping her arm around your shoulder. You gave a small smile before lightly pressing a kiss to her cheek and snuggling closer to her.

"Street Fighters or Street Fighter II?" You asked. Max chewed on her lip lightly before sighing.

"It's tough but... Street Fighters II wins it for me." She replied with a shrug. You gave a wide smile as Dustin cheered in victory. and Lucas huffed once again.

"The people have spoken Lukie-pie. Three to one. Accept the fact that Street Fighters II is superior." You said with a laugh. Lucas glared at you before rolling his eyes.

"Whatever, I'm going to class now." He replied. Dustin smirked before sighing.

"I should head to class, too. Talk later, guys." He said happily, walking away and towards his fifth hour.

You gave a quiet parting before turning around and smiling at your girlfriend. She returned the smile before leaning forward and pressing her lips to yours. You couldn't help but savor her sweet taste. One of strawberries coated in chocolate. One that you could never ascertain how she acquired. One you never got tired of no matter how many times she kissed you. One when she pulled away, you always wished lingered on your tongue for longer.

"Well, I sure did miss you too." You whispered as she stopped kissing you. She gave a small smile.

"We're still on for movie night at yours, right?" She asked quietly.

"Of course." You replied with a nod. She smiled wider.

"Perfect. Now come on, we don't need to be late to class." She said. You nodded and grabbed her hand, pulling her with you to your next class.
