"Shinooo~" Juuzou drawled out in a sing-song voice. Shino laughed.

"Yes, Juuzou?" He asked. Juuzou sighed and looked around the park.

"Why are we here?" He asked as he peered at the Sakura trees. It was bloom season, so all the petals littered the floor. It was a very pretty scene.

"We're retrieving our new recruit," Shino replied. Juuzou tilted his head in curiosity as Shino looked around. "Although it would be a lot easier if they had told me where they'd be." He said, mostly to himself. Juuzou continued to look around, kicking up some of the petals that fell into his slippers. He looked up from his feet and saw a figure in the distance.

"Shino, what's that?" He asked and pointed to the small figure on the tree. He looked and began to walk towards it. As they did, it slowly came into focus. It was you. You were hanging upside down on a tree branch. Your bright (e/c) eyes were clouded as you looked past them. Shino smiled and looked at you.

"(L/n), (Y/n)?" He asked. You looked at him and nodded, your face twisting into a smile.

"Uh, may I ask why you're hanging on a tree?" He inquired.

"May I ask why you're standing on the ground?" You puzzled with a laugh. His smile faded and he looked at his feet.

"Well, I... Isn't that what you're supposed to do?" He asked. You shook your head.

"Well aren't people supposed to eat food? If that were the case, we'd all be out of jobs." You said and continued to smile. He chuckled.

"Hmm, I suppose you're right." He said. You laughed.

"Of course I am. You're Shinohara, aren't you?" You asked and sat upon the tree, turning to face them. He nodded.

"Great." You said and stood on the branch, your feet on the very edge. Shinohara sighed.

"You should get down, you could fall." He said and looked up at you. You only continued to walk on the edge.

"Would you catch me?" You asked. He raised his eyebrows.

"Pardon?"

"I asked if you would catch me if I fell. It's quite rude to say someone would fall and not care enough to catch them if they did." You replied, your eyes never leaving his. Jeez, this person sure is something else, Juuzou thought.

"Well, I-" He was cut off, for you jumped. Juuzou did the only thing his reflexes would let him. He caught you. You weren't heavy, it was just difficult because of the position you were in. You shifted slightly, looked behind him, then at him, and smiled.

"Thank you, Juuzou." You said and moved out of his arms. Shinohara was still surprised as to what happened, but Juuzou just wanted to know how you knew his name. You started to walk away, leaving both of them there, puzzled. Juuzou ran to catch up to you.

"How do you know my name?" He asked. You laughed.

"Well, you two aren't that quiet when you talk, and you should honestly pay more attention." You said and held something up. He looked at it and saw that it was his wallet.

"Hey~," He said and snatched it from you. You laughed as he searched through it, making sure you didn't take anything. Shinohara walked next to you.

"That was not wise. If it hadn't been for Juuzou's reflexes, you would've fallen and hurt yourself." He said and looked at you sternly. All you did was smile.

"That's all the more reason I should've done it. Doves need to take risks and have quick reflexes." You commented. Shino sighed and laughed.

"Once again (L/n), you've proven a very valid point." He replied.

"(Y/n). There's no need to be so formal." You said and continued to walk. Shino smiled.

"Okay (Y/n). Why don't you'll tell Juuzou and I about yourself." He said. You looked forward.

"Hmm. Well, my name is (Y/n) (L/n), I just turned 18 yesterday, I've always had a deep hatred for ghouls, hence always wanting to be a dove." You said and continued to look forward. Shino smiled.

"Happy belated birthday." He said and patted your shoulder.

"Thank you." You replied, your smile never leaving. The CCG building came into view and you gasped.

"Race you there!" You shouted and began to run. In the midst, you did a cartwheel and Juuzou laughed. He smiled and began running after you. You continued to cartwheel and he laughed again. For someone who's supposed to be a dove, they sure are goofy, he thought. He watched as your (h/l) (h/c) hair blew gracefully in the wind as you ran. Juuzou sped up his pace and was a bit farther than you. You laughed.

"Oh no you don't, Juuzou!" You yelled. He looked behind him and before he knew it, you did a front flip and landed perfectly in front of him. His mouth fell open as you continued to run. You made it to the front of the building first. He stopped and saw you jumping up and down.

"Haha, I beat you!" You shouted and pointed at him. He giggled.

"You sure are fast." He said and leaned on the wall. You smiled.

"Thanks!" You replied with a smile. You were quite attractive in his opinion. Your (e/c) eyes were hidden behind thick, black eyelashes and you had a beautiful smile. A (f/c) dress-top, a pair of white jean shorts, and knee-high boots adrorned your body. You were nicely built, (y/h) and (b/f) with a (a/t) backside. His cheeks turned red as he thought this. That's very impolite Juuzou! You should not look at a person's backside unless they give you permission! he scolded himself.

"You're very captivating." He heard you say. He looked back at you.

"What?" He asked. He had never been called captivating before, weird and odd definitely, but captivating?

"I said you were captivating. From your stitches to your eyes. It's enough for a person to go crazy." You said and smiled. The once small blush turned very red and visible on his pale skin.

"And the clips in you're hair, XIII. Unlucky number 13 meaning death. And XX meaning judgment. If someone read into them, they'd know that, but no one ever has, have they?" You asked, grabbing his chin and looking closely at his face. His cheeks burned.

"N-no one except you." He replied. You smiled and laughed.

"You're very cute when you stutter." You said. If someone had held a tomato next to Juuzou's face, they wouldn't be able to tell the difference. You leaned closer, your eyes never leaving his. He watched as you ran your tongue across your lips, before looking at his. He then heard footsteps, and before he knew it, you were far away from him and looking at Shinohara.

"You... shouldn't... run off... like that..." He said, catching his breath. Juuzou stood dumbfounded, still shaken by how close you had been.

"Took you long enough! C'mon!" You shouted and ran in. Shino laughed and rolled his eyes. Walking towards the door. He held it open.

"You coming Juuzou?" He asked. Juuzou looked at him and pursed his lips. He nodded and slowly walked in.
